Sounds like it'll be an older bar crowd; that seems to be matts general fan base. He better pull out all the stops, lots of bars in Lex.

Hope he’s going for the older crowd. Two Keys and Tin Roof were always the hot spots when I was in school in Lex which was only 3 years ago?

Bars and restaurants have an extremely high failure rate, but a UK themed bar in Lexington could do well if managed well. Depends on who they hire to run the place, sounded like Matt and crew won't be doing any of the hands on management, just doing events and stuff there.

OMG(oodness)...........to be your age again.....and to know what I know now.......

Live life son, have fun, enjoy yourself, get a job that makes you happy and one that isn't "work" to you.......

The Bible says, "life is like a vapor," and let me just confirm that to you....it is.....

Bars are a cash business. Your staff can rob you blind unless you or someone you trust are there all the time to keep an eye things.

Great, just what Lexington needed, another bar!!! Only about 1200 of them now in Fayette County. And with a UK theme!! If only we had some blue and white decor in this town, with a Wildcat motif!! Why has this not been thought of before??

Where can I invest?

Obviously location is the factor...tons of places have closed down over the last year. It would be nice to have an actual sports bar dtown

I'm guessing they move into the space where District Sports Bar and Grill was, part of the old Saddle Ridge/Varsity Blues building. Drew had mentioned that the previous tenant left a lot of good stuff and there's not many recently closed bar spaces that fit that description.

The Big Blue Country Club meets at Saints in St. Matthews for most UK games. I've been several times, but there's always some Louisville trolls who show up. I hate being in mixed company when watching a UK game.

I didn't go there enough for anyone to remember me.

Matt mentioned a few weeks ago he just bought a piece of property that was the former home of something but I can't remember what it was. Not that space. But that seems like a good place.
