If Jones was an extreme conservative the Bar would be unstoppable and a guaranteed success!!!
Unless you lived upstairs or anywhere else in the condo building . . . pretty sure they sued to shut it down due to repeated complaints.

If I'm not mistaken they are turning the old Paulies into condos. Believe the other owners made it where no restaurant or bar can move back in.
Makes sense considering it's right next to Rupp but that place has been gutted for a while it seems like.

About 25 years ago, I had a development proposal with plans, cost estimates investors to partner with Paul Hornung to have his own sports bar to broadcast his show(he used to have a national DirectV show out of a Ville ChiChis). Adaptively reUsing the OK storage building.
I met and pulled all the players together, they loved the idea... but no one ponied up any cash.
I met Paul Hornung though. I tried.

There's gonna be something for everyone who must interject their stupid GD politics into everything.
The conservative section will feature Fox News/InfoWars all day, every sports TV will feature golf, hockey, tennis, rodeo and NASCAR. No black sports. All you can drink Natty Light, all white wait staff. There's even gonna be clouds for old men to yell at. Gun racks at every booth.
The liberal side of the bar will feature adequate space to hang fedoras and scarves, typewriter docking stations, diverse transgender wait staff, gender neutral restrooms, all soy line of craft beer, safe space Play Doh on every table and a reparations tip jar to reimburse others for your privilege.
It's gonna be great.
