You know what’s an insult to my intelligence?

telling me a guy who’s been in politics nearly half a century and done absolutely nothing for the American peopleis an insult to my intelligence.

Screaming systematic racism and attempting to use Black votes as a means to an end when it’s clearly not true, is an insult to my intelligence.

Saying you favor Black Americans rights over control, and using anti-police slogans while you then elect a man who’s openly racist, and a Vice President who’s a cop that locked away people while enjoying herself, is an insult to my intelligence.

Saying you favor environmental issues while openly advocating for things that pollute greatly are an insult to my intelligence. You don’t even want to go down this rabbit hole.

Saying you’re for the little guy while you support entities that promote big pharm and big Corp is an insult to my intelligence.

You don’t like how Trump talks. So what? I don’t like how neo liberals govern, and I think you’re very aware of what I mean.

You’re a party line guy. You don’t help.
You have some points.
I also don't like how the neo liberal left pushes BS like defunding police and how the far right has fallen in love with insane conspiracy theories. Both parties have too many extremist elements with too much say.
I think it just comes down to who each of us sees as the lesser of two evils unfortunately.
Right now I trust Biden more with our democracy than Trump or his followers.

Can you cite a verifiable source besides your opinion or a Youtube video?
Why...
The CDP spent the better part of FIVE years disseminating nothing but a pack of lies about Trump and his family... Swalwel, Pelosi, Brennan, Clapper, and the biggest liars of all and the biggest pieces of dirt bag in Washington and James Comey and Adam Schiff. The Steele dossier paid for by the Democtrati. Party...spare all the BS from the party of the biggest liars and cheats in America. YOUR party stole what is suppose to be the most sacred thing we have as a free country...an honest and fair election. May you all rot in hell.

Btw @BigKari , as I said I’m moving to BSL this year. I don’t know if you responsed because I had over 100 replies and couldn’t shift through them all at the time. Or maybe I did read it but can’t remember. I’m not going to repeat the area you said because of your positions in this thread and I’m not on the train that wants to cause problems.

Myquestion is how do you handle the hurricane situation? I’m not from those areas and have no idea what I’m doing. Lol.

Hurricane wise, I have no idea. One came through near Pensacola this year and knocked our fence down and our power was out for 2 days. Lost all our food in the fridge/freezer. I’m a Midwest city boy ill prepared for these god forsaken hurricanes. My house has gone up in value pretty tremendously in just 2 years and I’m about ready to cut and run. These storms give me incredible anxiety. Just wait til one pops up and you keep updating the forecast and every time it’s shifting closer. I can’t ******* stand it.

This has already been exposed to be a ******** Fox News lie. This story was started by none other than Donald Trump Jr. You are so incredibly full of **** Patrick. You know what stands out to me about Hillary Clinton? Of all the investigations she went through, she fully cooperated every time and every single time she was cleared of wrong doing. Compare that to your boy Trump who obstructed the FBI’s investigation every step of the way.

Karl. Doesn’t look like it’s from Trump Jr. to me.

Id agree, but I support strong nationalism and reject the globalist agenda, so I vote more right wing.

My thoughts just cannot come to grips with an American voting to further the globalist agenda. I can’t make sense of it.

Like I said, I’m a blend of cultural and virtuous nationalism where I’d like to see more unity, more mixed marriages, more American first policy, and more ethnic continuity. That’s the only way we’ll make it. It’s why I come down on the racist elements in both parties. It will take a blending of the people to form the American culture. We need more mixing. When that happensthe government has no way of dividing, and the left can’t use voter blocs to promote their party. It means we will actually get somewhere.

I do, obviously, come down harder on the left. I think they’re a machine that’s using grievances and making situations worse. I then see that they are indeed the element today which promotes the industrial military complex, and big Corp. those situations are totally antithetical to “little guy” politics. So essentially, they’re just lying. I go at them harder because of it, and so do many progressives by the way. Not because the progressive left is crazy, but because they see the unreal hypocrisy and want to change it.

Damn. And I’m gonna be in the heart of it.

So really just stay put unless they evacuate? I have a lot of rental property in Tennessee so we can always drive up. Is that about what you do? Just wait and see?

Hopfully we could get together if you’re around the area. I’ll bring you a Trump hat and burn.

From New York Post..... hardly a liberal source
"Ratcliffe said the intelligence community was unable to confirm the validity of the claim that Clinton cooked up the scandal. He wrote the information was derived from “Russian intelligence analysis ” that could have been an “exaggeration or fabrication.” Sources told Politico that members of both parties on the Senate Intelligence Committee previously discounted the claim as unsupported by fact."

Again, I agree with a lot of your points and I am much more drawn to Reagan Republican ideology than the party of Trump. He's just way too much of a cult of personality for my taste. I don't think he uses his power fairly or wisely.

Yeah we’ve been lucky and just had close calls the last 2 years. First one was right after we bought our house, and it scared the **** out of me. It turned away from us and we didn’t really get hit. Just lots of rain and I slept thru it because I was on nights. This last one wasn’t bad either, just lots of rain again but quite a bit windier. I walked outside in it this time and it wasn’t too crazy.

My advice is just listen to the people that have been in this area and have gone through many storm seasons. If they board up their windows, you should too. If they evacuate, you should really consider evacuating. Hasn’t been that serious for us yet, but I don’t want to keep trying my luck. We’ll have to go through one more hurricane season next year, then we’re selling the house in 2022 and moving up to Kentucky or Ohio.

I’ll hit you up if I’m in Biloxi next year. Me and my boys usually get a casino trip going during basketball season.

It’s so much more than “how Trump talks” and I know that you know that. Besides, as President, your speech is indeed action and he acted upon or tried to act upon much of the ******** he spewed from his fat ****in mouth. Trump was an absolute disaster, what he has done/ is doing to this country is downright horrific. We may never be the same.

You call Biden racist, but look at the diverse team he is putting together. With Trump it was the all-white criminal team with a healthy dose of nepotism. I’ve seen multiple posts from you where you say that it would do black people well to vote Republican. Again I say as I’ve said before, black Americans (my family included) are not stupid. They look around at the Trump administration and Congress and they see the party of diversity and they see the party of old white men. If you want black people to vote Republican then the party needs to diversify. And I don’t mean just by race either, but also ideologically. You call this poster a “party line guy”. The entire Republican Party is the definition of following party lines. Progressive Dems/libs push boundaries and come up with new ideas. They argue with the with and challenge each other. I don’t agree with all their ideas, but the only ideas I hear from Republicans is denying/taking away rights from groups they dislike or disagree with, and figuring out how to put more money in their pockets and the pockets of their billionaire friends.

Some of that is opinion driven and I can’t change your mind. I think Trump was a fantastic president, I just think powerful elements wanted him out to further the industrial military complex. We probably won’t find ground there, but you’re likely to be in war very soon. There is no denying that Democrats are the modern party of war.

Biden is absolutely racist, and if a person on the right said half of the things he’s said, you’d definitely call him racist. I think this is just disingenuous. I could lay out everything he has done and said, but it would literally take too long. If you want, I can easily, without effort, prove Biden is racist by today’s standards.

The act of picking people based off of their skin color should be absolutely horrid to a person of color. Seeing him on one hand be responsible for the ghetto to prison pipeline, while then using the color of a person later to promote his own power, should have been enough to dismantle the lock grip on the Black vote. I think you’re looking at this all wrong. If you want to see how racist people like that reallly are, don’t vote for them. Just one cycle, don’t for them. You’ll see racism like you’ve never seen it.

I would like to see all people vote based off of ideology, personal ambition, and the greater good. One of the reasons Europeans have faired well with the system in place is their vote is split. Until the Black vote splits, democrats have no reason to do anything but remind you of the civil rights act, and republicans have no reason to govern for you.

it’s either a split vote, or we create a culture by having mixed marriages. Until then, it’s not gonna happen no matter how many Democrats you pick.

Pretty good talk. Interesting dynamics.

I disagree with everything you said besides one thing, but I’m bowing out because I gotta get up for work early. Trump was all for the oiling the big military industrial complex machine too so idk where you’re going with that one, but I do agree that establishment Dems are big money too, and pro military industrial complex. It’s just gotten so big and so tied to our economy, what do we do? As for war, I old enough to remember Bush’s desperation for war and the illegal acts he committed to get us there. A war that’s ongoing. A war that my wife experienced IDF and smelled a burning vehicle outside her base that ran over an IED and killed people stationed there. The threat of war is all too real, but I just don’t see Biden as a war mongering President, and I really don’t think the old guy has the energy for it.

The thing I do very much agree with is the mixed marriages. I’m doing my part on that one and we have our first child due next year. Hope my children don’t grow up to be Republicans though lol, but I’ll love them all the same no matter what.

I definitely enjoy the debates despite differences. Definitely think there are big issues at play in our society right now and it appears sometimes we are just seeing/interpreting different realities.
It makes me question things. But I am drawn much more to facts (or at least verifiable things)....than the conspiracy theories.
I guess it kinda comes down to my view that Trump is much more of a symptom than a cure for some of the legitimate issues you speak of.
You're not exactly wrong, but I don't think he is making the situation better.

I just know when Lockheed Martin supports a candidate, and they supported Bush, Obama, Clinton, and now Biden, I take notice. Trump is the first president since Carter to have this little of military intervention (to put it mildly). Hillary wanted war in Syria, Biden will pick his war. All with the goal in mind to make people rich.

I cannot stand George Bush. He’s a war criminal like the rest. The difference is I support Trump because im no longer voting the wars MF corrupt politicians. Voting Biden, unfortunately, is a vote for war and corruption.

The entire premise behind identity politics is to keep our minds away from that. Party politics means you excuse one side regardless, because it’s about wins and losses. Team identity, no different than UK fans excusing things they don’t like about Calipari for wins.

There was no difference between Republicans and Democrats until Trump. If anybody really believes Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden / Clintons are true liberals, I really don’t know what to say. If someone really believes Bush is a real constitutional conservative, I don’t know what to say. If someone really believes there’s a difference in Bush and Obama, I really don’t know what to say.

We are all being washed over by powerful entities and we’re falling for it in spades. The goal of government is always to diminish our civil liberties. It’s easy to see where the Trump hate is coming from with regard to elite entities. He was not willing to get involved and ramp up the next wave of war. To me this is so obvious it’s damn near written in plain English.

Trump is no Republican, and that’s exactly why I voted for him.

Hey I will be the first to admit...he was running a rocking economy. No argument from me on that.
The problem though is that he is practically incapable of doing ANYTHING else well. He is not living in reality and refuses to believe anything he doesn't want to. It was all fine until he had to deal with something besides taxes and regulations. He was fine with democracy until he lost an election.
As soon as he had to deal with issues beyond his very narrow band of thinking....it was a disaster for our country.
He's much more of an economic idiot savant like Rain Man than a well rounded Stable Genius.
Yeah I didn't read that.

Not really facts, but alternative facts. But I do get your argument strategy. Make up “facts” at a mile a minute pace and it becomes hard to follow and refute every piece of misinformation.
The problem with your argument is that facts are there......they didn't have to generate facts like the Dems did on Russian collusion...........

So you think QAnon followers are “Antifa”? You haven’t been paying attention, not that any attention really should be paid to QAnon, so I do not blame you for that part. Many Americans and many on this board have been manipulated to believe that an entity called “Antifa” exists. It’s just another scare tactic used by the Right. You probably already forgot, but over the summer Right wing media kept reporting that Antifa was going to come terrorize suburban neighborhoods. It didn’t happen because there is no such thing as Antifa as an organization. Look at where DHS and FBI has directed their efforts. You don’t know more than they do. Same as the illegal immigrant caravan, Hunter Biden’s laptop, etc. All lies to keep you scared and keep you voting against your interests.
You the biggest fool I ha ve seen on this board. You are in denial that an anarchist organization promoted riots all over this country in large cities. Antifa doesn't have to go into many communities to silence law abiding citizens. The cowards of antifa also love to attack people when they have 10-1 odds. You can continue to deny the obvious, that is a progressive trait. You are one of those people who do not believe in absolute truth. You think that you can have "your truth" and others can have their "truth" and all can be correct (except conservatives who are obviously wrong). You say you are educated. I say you are brainwashed. You are much more accepting of having your news cleansed of any though that you disagree with. In fact you self censor your own news because you pretend not to believe that Antifa exists. Really foolish and childish.

I didn’t want to login and say this but I’m going to. Part of my educational background is political science, and I debated professors forever on the idea that right wing domestic terrorism is the main threat to America. It’s absurd.

to reach this conclusion, liberal social science professors have to cherry pick the data. In a class actually called Terrorism, she literally began her data AFTER 9/11, then she lectured that left leaning terrorist groups were routed out by the FBI during the RAF and Weather Underground days. Which is also absurd. Th only way to reach the conclusion that right wing terrorism is the biggest threat Is to cherry pick and mislead people on the data, and label all left wing terrorist groups non political.

I pretty much owned her in the class and proved to everyone how biased she was. Had left leaning students telling me I made way more sense than she did.

and they all stood up and clapped.

Well, trump said covid would be over by Easter and we wouldn't even be talking about it after the election. Both of my parents are currently in icu fighting it.

Maybe trump was just playing around too.
And maybe you have the IQ of a 2 year old for bringing that crap up in a non political thread.

But maybe you were just playing around too.

Never realized the moon was a political ping pong ball. Thought it was a cheese ball. Learn something every day. By the way, the man on the moon voted for Trump. I know because he will still show his face four years from now. Backhand serve.

I thought I clicked on a fun conspiracy thread!

This reads more like the Ralphie daydream sequence in A Christmas Story. I bet that stupid idiot professor wept as classical music swelled in the background and she decided that you, a true savant, deserved an A + + + + +

Welp, when you completely erase left wing violence from your curriculum and attempt to say the FBI completely destroyed left wing terrorism in the 1960’s and 70’s, someone had to say something.

This was of course after she painted left wing groups like the RAF as “freedom fighters”......

She really shouldn’t be at a University.

I work at the pentagon in the office that is responsible for acquisitions for the Air Force. The entire premise of your post is that Lockheed endorsed Biden. I’d love to see proof of that bc that’s news to me.

You honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. Our defense budget (and rightly so, in light of the threat from China and Russia) has never been more advantageous to defense contractors than it is right now under Trump. I’m a Biden supporter, but our defense budget is actually going to drop significantly under Biden as we move away from next gen military tech and focus more on domestic issues. And I think that could be a mistake. But whatever concerns you have about Biden and foreign intervention is a red-herring. Our threat is cyber, space, and nuclear.
