Rhule is worthless as hell but I admire his agent. Here is my future career projection for Rhule...

2026 [Nebraska finishes 5-7; pressure heats up]
2027 [Nebraska starts 2-7; Rhule terminated]
2027 [Nebraska tries to hire Lee Corso and then Lou Holtz and settles on Mark Mangino]
2028 [Game #1 - Mangino dies on the sideline at kickoff]
2028 [Student trainer takes over as head coach as Nebraska is summarily rejected by every coaching candidate]
2029 [Trev Alberts returns as AD and shuts down the football program]
2030 [Nebraska fans realize this is their best and most enjoyable Fall in nearly 30 years]

1) Only be a fan when we’re good.

Hoiberg figured it out in the middle of year 4 with Griesel, Walker, Tominaga, Bandoumel, and Gary. Our win loss record starting at this time is top 5 in the B10.

We will probably keep losing some games, but we are guaranteed to keep losing if we keep changing coaches and don't have program stability. I get the anger, but we are in a pickle because at this point we actually need Rhule to work out. For my peace of mind I'm going with the old saying "a watched pot never boils" like I did with Hoiberg and basketball and look how that is turning out. Demand improvement, for sure, but if it's not enjoyable, maybe do something else for a couple years and check back.

It has nothing to do with the merger. It has everything to do with another disappointing year by our head coach and more and more fans starting to accept that reality. Seems pretty normal for any coach’s leash to get shorter by the year as said coach continues to suck year after year.

Rhule is doing ok, he's had to do a complete rebuild on a prolonged dumpster fire with structural damage.
rhule right now is 16 - 16
where frost was 16 - 37
(that means rhule would have to go on a 21 game losing streak starting now to catch up with frost)
and now rhule will just get productive players from the portal like cignetti
and the new nil contracts will be pay for play, meaning you have to produce if you want any money
this will make a more work like environment, and production will increase.

our ad will have to start thinking this way also,
I'd suggest weekly meeting on what exactly the football coaches are doing here?

Nobody said we have faith. We also live in reality where no matter how much crying you do he is our coach for the immediate future. Do you need a binky and a safe space?
