Good deal. Great opportunity for him. I have a friend who's kid NU (Bo and Carl) wouldn't even let walk on at NU. Instead we gave a scholarship to some knucklehead from Missouri who ended up quitting the team after he lost his starting position. My friend's son started for 3 years at DT at a Dakota school and was signed as a FA. He lasted to the final roster cuts with an NFL team and was signed to a practice squad for a while. He left high school as 6-1, 245 lb linebacker/OG and wound up a 305 lb DT on an NFL team for at least a while.
Welcome aboard. I am happy to get any kid that wants to come in and work hard, push his teammates, and contribute any way they can to make this team better.
I think it would be cool if we added a committed Walk-on list to the recruiting page. Give these kids some exposure as well!
Interesting, how athletic is he? Couldn't tell from his video. Looks very intriguing, has all the measurables as our 2018 DE recruits out of Colorado and Connecticut.
