Shelby and Reidsville will be really good this year. I could see both being in the top 10 by the end of the year.

Tarboro might enter the top 50 also.

Why? In that case I would put Northeastern over Wrh. I think Wrh could earn their way though with that schedule.
Is that list looking at just this season or the body of work over the past few years? In both scenarios I think WRH would have the edge on Northeastern

Basing it off of this year, I've seen Northeastern ranked 3rd and Northeastern will still have a good team. But I wouldn't rank either one as of now. I just said Tarboro would have the best case, but 1a is holding them back.

The teams on this list have alot of back to back titles and/or high level competition along with the titles.

I don't think either wrh or ne are top 50 teams. Wrh could earn it though with Havelock and Wake forest.

They would still need to win the title and not get beat really bad in those 2 games. There are other schools around the country(especially in California where some small schools are allowed to play up) who also can make a case. Shelby and Reidsville have consistent wins against playoff caliber teams in the higher classes. The ones on the list have built a case over the last few years based on competition AND titles.

Send some of the teams on that list to Virginia to play Indian River and see who come away with a win
