I, too, love overreacting to piss poor performances on any given day. Collins certainly has his work cut out for him with this group. The lack of effort and execution on D is simply inexcusable. Take a cue from FSU and notice how they are on you like glue. Don't give them an inch! Play them tight, hustle, box out, and talk.
Yeah, I'm done with this game. Sadly, I think the team quit playing before I quit watching. Time for this team to decide what they want to be this year. This level of effort is simply not going to get it done. Gotta win on D this season and hope to find yourselves on offense.
Yes it looked bad and the shooting was even worse but give up , I don't think so. Was listening on the radio and Dave E. reported that Law took over the huddle late in the Ist half and gave everyone a loud piece of his mind. even though he wasn't in the game because of 3 fouls. Got to see part of the 2nd half and thinking that Greer needs to see more PT.
Must have been watching different games, because I saw a lack of effort last night. On the loose balls/rebounds it was rather glaring, imo.
I can tell you from the three game sample that it looks more like a skill issue.
Strong disagree. Yesterday was an effort issue. Watch Pardon not even step out on his guy on D. They coasted thru weak initial competition and now have to adjust their focus and intensity level to match their opponents ability level. There is no excuse for this team to be worse on D than the 16/17 team.
