...this must be the New Northwestern. Look at the ticket availability for our game on Sunday compared to the Michigan at Michigan State game. And the price difference.

Wasnt face value $70?
I would think the price would be north of that. With Purdue sold out and only 75 tickets left for the Michigan game...maybe we will have a strong home field advantage

Purdue and Maryland are the only two teams in the BIG that scare me. Swanigan and Haas are going to be a big test for Pardon and Benson. And that Mello fellow always seems to get the leg up on our guards. If we get a least one win against those teams, the sky is the limit for this team.

Big Twist was a great crossover Blues/Soul Chicago icon. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, but the music lives on as the Chicago Rhythm & Blues Kings.....

First of all, calm down about getting worried. The Big 10's top team are not in the top 10 this year which means the teams do not have a lot of NBA talent. Indiana game will be tough even without because they will play 2 6'10" guys in a Thomas Bryant a 5 star talent and no. 39 ranked 6'10", 250 lbs plus PF Deron Davis. Plus they can pull off the bench no. 84 Curtis Jones from Huntington Prep. Crean will now have problems as Blackmon would be smart to come back for a senior season which means that Crean will have to Crean or cut another player on the team for next season. As for Wisconsin and Purdue, the way to stop them is not to let Happ and Hayes stick his elbow in your stomach or hook you to make a move in the paint. Also, Lindsey will have to check Koenig on the outside. As for Purdue, remember Iowa beat them. Collins is going to have get Benson more minutes in those games and Skelly is going to have to stop making silly fouls against the taller and big guys of PU. Lumpkin will have issues guarding 6'10" wider bodies. But he did so against 6'10" Collins of WF.

Heard Big Twist in Carbondale once. Late 70's or early 80's. Southern Illinois Cannonball remains a favorite.
