Hopefully so, the other defeats to top 25 teams. Looking better but conference play will be very tough. Let’s hope we have enough depth to survive tough games.

Yep. The SEC looks to be an absolute gauntlet. Auburn and Tn both top 5. #23 Ole Miss currently having their way with Louisville. Georgia beat ND earlier tonight.

SEC dominating the ACC so far. Incredible.

Gamecocks, Vols, Hogs, Georgia, Missouri already with wins. That’s 5-0 so far.

Ole Miss killing Louisville so that’ll be 6-0. Only ACC team winning at the moment is Clemson over Kentucky.

Well, Clemson put an end to that, beating the SEC's highest ranked team.

We looked better last night. Maybe we will roll into form. Still face an extremely uphill battle to make to the NCAAT this year with 3 losses already on the young season. I imagine we'll enter conference play 9-4 (vs 12-1 last year). Four of our first 6 conferences games are against current top 25 teams. We were 13-5 conference play last year, so probably looking at a 7-8 win season this year.

As it stands, I would project us being 17-12, at best, by season's end.

I was looking at .500, anything better would be gravy.

That's realistic. I can't see us approaching anything close to 20 wins this year.

The dropoff has been very disappointing, but I suppose this just how things are going to be in the portal era for teams like us.

Last night resembled more like last year's team. LP still has some work to do but this team, with it's depth, could come around.

Auburn is ranked #2, but still a good win for Clemson. I’m thinking you mean highest ranked in the challenge. 9-1 is still pretty dominant! Still games tonight. Bama vs UNC should be a good one. Same with Auburn vs Duke.

Dont think this team has come together quite yet. Last years team was able to so quickly, but I credit Talon Cooper for that too. We miss his leadership both on and off the court.

This team is capable of playing good basketball. The last couple of games are encouraging. But not much room for error now. We need to win some games and have a solid record in the SEC, which looks like a tough thing to do this season.

Best case scenario, we enter conference play with 9 wins, maybe worse if we have any missteps along the way. That means we need probably 12 conference wins to at least get on the bubble. Just can't see us picking up 12 wins in conference play this year.

Not yet, but we have been surprising often during SEC play when our teams have been decent.

But the bubble rarely treats us well, in any sport.

We are not even thru December... they will continue to get better and gel. It's already showing. Beating two ACC teams on the road is not easy. Relax.

I’m just glad the guys are playing our style of defense finally and more guys are scoring consistently. We’ll get better, but just don’t see an NCAA bid this year. But hey, I underestimated the football as well, so who knows.
