LA pulling away. 21-7. It's beginning to look like Loyola is going to be too much for the Caravan to handle.
I don't think MC can score with this team. If LA is scoring this many points
In the 1st quarter it will be a long game for MC.
Another TD by Loyola. 42-14. Coach Frank will need to work on a lot of stuff to get ready for 7A playoffs.
For that matter, every coach in 8A will have a lot of stuff to work on to think they can take down Loyola in the playoffs. HF showed last night that they can't stop a power running game and that they have special teams problems.

LA is out here looking like a college team. They have qualified for the FCS playoffs with this win
I think Souc is incorrect about the GN v MC game. MC should pick up one more playoff point with a loss and the game will be at Gately.

Assuming that LA is treating this game as its last chance to impress the DSR panel, it certainly should be #1 in my mind.

MC center was moving forward before the snap on that sneak for a TD. Refs missed it.
I've had Loyola #1 for a number of weeks in the DSR too. I see nothing today to change my mind. They've been the best team in the state all year, IMO. Holecek has never had this many offensive weapons....a diverse receiving corps with size and speed, a RB with great quickness and an experienced QB who can run and pass. And how about that monster backup QB for good measure? Love that play where they fake to the RB, drag the TE underneath and hit him with a short pass. Loyola is always disciplined and well coached. They may just prove Gooms wrong this year and take the 8A title.
I did not see that, either. MC could have operated under CFL rules and wouldn't have been enough to beat LA today.
Just before the snap, he started leaning forward and gained momentum to block for the QB keeper. No big deal.
Gooms does know his football. I believe he had MC in this one. ND could probably beat LA too.
