Do you think we will see any changes tomorrow on D? Usually when MC makes changes it is about this time. Maybe Kennedy on D? He is gonna play there anyway in college. Not sure how many carries he got vs Rita but he had only 12 vs LA. Might as well. After the bad LA and SR losses in ’09 they finally just started playing multiple guys both ways ie Sherlock, Greer. Sherlock had key INT v Stevenson. Do they put Cousart back on D?

How many will go both ways this weekend for the Caravan? Kennedy, Thomas and one of your OL/DLs? Perhaps more?

Terrance Taylor has been playing both ways all year at LB/TE....he's better at LB...

I don't know Dean...Kennedy has had some great runs in the first quarter, then they have to bail the plan and go with Thomas....I think Coursett would be a better bet at D against BR then Kennedy because he has experience playing defense, Kennedy has always been a RB, throwing him at BR's offense for his first time would be a tough assignment. I've been impressed with McClurge and Kilbane...Rogers is our leading tackler at corner and that's not good....I really need to see a lo more from our defensive line and LB's....even Brown hasn't impressed me when he's been on the D line...

They have tried all sorts of things. Taylor at LB/TE, McClurge, Rogers on O, Brown/Myrick rotating on D line in certain situations.

I watched the Rita game - granted handing them a gift TD to start with and missing a short FG near the end did have an effect on outcome no doubt. Taylor should be playing both ways as should Cooper, Kennedy and Thomas. You need those guys out there - the other big guy Brown would be out of gas in the 4Q if you played him both ways entire game. You need Trudeau to have a solid game - if you have to rely on Thomas as the QB you give up the pass pretty much and make it one dimensional. It will be a big crowd and both teams will be up.

You are correct about if you put the ball into Thomas hands your basically handing the playbook over, but honestly I don't know if they have another choice against a team like BR...Trudeau can lead you against Taft, Gary and DePaul, but in games like this, if you got an ace, you got to play it, and Thomas is an ace.

I know Antonietti hurt his knee. He was in uniform last week unlike vs LA but did not play. So who knows maybe he is at Center and Gill slides over to RG. That would be nice having Center back but also id be worried week 6 first time on the exchanges.
