McDonald and Warren to Transfer


MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 21, 2015) – West Virginia University women’s basketball coach Mike Carey announced on Tuesday that sophomore guard/forward Bre McDonald and freshman guard Tyara Warren will not return for the 2015-16 season.


McDonald, a native of Lithonia, Georgia, played in 35 games and started 20. She averaged 6.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.


Warren, a native of Plano, Texas, saw action in 18 games this season. The freshman boasted 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest.
