McDowell is coming off of a long covid pause after beating RS week 1. Avery has struggled this year, especially on defense. Coach Brewer may be returning to Newland to face his old team but he is in quarantine currently. I expect the titans to be rusty after the long break but they should win going away.

I think McDowell wins big in this one. They got the red bearded highlander on Defense. Avery will have to double or triple team him to keep him out of the backfield.

Seems to me that teams are either good at wrestling or good at football. Seems to be the case for the most part.

Mitchell used to be good at both, but the wrestling program took a nose dive the past few years. McDowell football could finally be turning the corner this year. Much more excitement and community involvement than in years past.
