I can't confirm anything, but I would of bet dollars to donuts that he had a fractured collarbone by the way he landed and carried his shoulder while walking to the training room. Seen that walk many, many times and its usually that or shoulder dislocation. His particular mechanism of injury favors clavicle fracture. Which is the primary purpose of the bone. It doesn't add any structural integrity to the shoulder or your axial skeleton while upright. It does act as a buffer when falling as fracturing the upper ribs or lower neck bones is much more of a problem.

I hope it isn't that serious, but it did look bad. I have 2 bad rotator cuffs, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Some days I can't raise my arms above my face. It's no fun at all.

I had my left shoulder replacement surgery last yr..I can lift my arms over my head..and do SOME work...but man its very limited . I'm 56 yrs old, when my doctor was putting me back together , he said that BIG days were over..no more 300# bench presses . I miss those days in the gym..But my bank account doesn't miss all the steroids and supplimentss I used to take. . Those alpha male days are long gone ,and I'm better for it.

OKeyd57..............go and have those rotator cuff injuries repaired. The rehab is painful but you will go glad you had the surgery. Do one shoulder in 2017 and the other in 2018. Do you need me to recommend a good surgeon? I need to get a new head but plan on putting the surgery off til 2020. Warez

I'd say rest him. We're playing for third at this point and will need him in the coming years to take over more PT.
