I’m confused by the Spider-Man movie. It’s got to be before Infinity War? Right?

The timeline is going to be confusing because of the likely time travel aspects of End Game. I think the movie (End Game) starts off at least a year or two after Infinity Wars, but this Spiderman movie seems to be based not long after Homecoming. Plus all of the main characters seem to have survived the finger snap since you see all of Peter's friends, schoolmates, and Nick Fury is also back.

I'm going to guess that the heroes go back in time before Thanos ever gets to Earth and stops him at that point and it would mean Spiderman never even gets involved with the battle to stop Thanos and his lieutenants. That makes Homecoming and Far From Home pretty much one right after the other with no Infinity War ravaging Earth.

By the way that definitely is Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio. I am not sure about the elemental people and what their deal is, but they seem to be fighting against Spiderman and Mysterio. I don't know what is going on to have the hero and villain fighting the same enemy. I don't recall those elementals from back when I collected Spiderman comics as a kid.

Apparently Mysterio is acting as if he’s a good guy at the start of the film and then turns to a villain

I wanted post in this thread since the Captain Marvel threads are political.

Spoilers coming:
I have some issues with time. What happened to the tesseract between 1995 and 2012? Was it with SHIELD for 17 years?

Has Captain Marvel been fighting the KreeSkrull war since 1995? And why wasn’t she in Guardians? Ronin a Kree was in the first one.

I believe they just locked the tesseract away. Probably only brought it out due to the alien attack in Thor. Needed something to combat the new alien threats and the cube seemed to be a source of unlimited power.

Has Captain Marvel been fighting the KreeSkrull war since 1995? And why wasn’t she in Guardians? Ronin a Kree was in the first one.

Maybe she hung out with the Skrulls and helped them find a new home. Probably just wanted a break from all of the fighting. You'd think she could wipe out the Kree with little effort if she wanted to.

Even if she were involved with fighting the Kree, Ronin was a loose canon and doing his own thing separate from the Kree and getting involved with Thanos. Captain Marvel may not have known any of that was even going on.

The part with Ant Man looking at the post with all the missing signs makes it look like a lot of time has passed since the snap happened. Maybe I’m misreading it.

Nebula is in the Avengers hangar in the new uniform and was with Stark on Titan. You'd have to think that Stark engineers something like he did in the original Iron Man to get home.

Stark sends Nebula away in the only way away from Titan. She gets to earth. Tells everyone where he is. Wong portals him home.

I just watched again and saw Tony in the hangar. Didn't realize that before.

I like that that have not shown anyone that had been dusted so far so you still don't know fully that they save them.

I still don’t think we know the for sure timing of Far From Home

I am guessing Far From Home takes place somewhere right before, during, or right after Infinity War, but that is with time travel involved. In Endgame they might go back to before the events of Infinity War and stop them from happening. All of the people that disappeared probably reappear without any knowledge of the Infinity War events.

Peter Parker was I believe 15 in Civil War and it was 2 years after that when Infinity War takes place. That would probably put him in his Senior year of high school and taking a Senior trip to Europe. Here is a quick Spider-Man timeline I put together real quick. Ignore the bad handwriting. Hope it makes sense. It is just a guess without doing any research.

Did it meet your expectations?

Yes.

The fully spoiler free review I have given to my friends is that as someone who has been watching all of these movies since the beginning and become invested in the characters, Endgame did everything I hoped it would and many things I didn’t realize I wanted but definitely appreciated.
