I think it'll drop significantly if we beat them this year. I wouldn't rank Arkansas in the top 8 teams I root against tbh
They've been D-1 since 1973-1974 though they've never played in an NCAA Tournament. Lost the 1969 and 1973 NAIA Championship games. Only D-1 post season victory was in the 1974 NIT. They play in the MEAC.
Their two victories this season were against Penn State-Schuylkill and Gallaudet.

Just quoted this to support my prediction that Cal isn’t gonna last long in Fayetteville. I like to jump on hogville and laugh at the fans rationalizing his coaching, but for the most part, Arkansas fans know hoops. I think their patience will wear thin much sooner than most programs, and it seems like the doubt is already creeping into the fanbase.
Basically, he picked an awful program to jump ship to if his approach wasn’t going to change. I think that fanbase is done with him by 2026

Dude, half of their team either played or were committed to play here . Couple that with the former coach that many despised . Of course people are going to OBSESS over what they are doing. From what I can tell , the ones worried about this “OBSESSION “ are mostly the same ones that didn’t want any negative talk about Cal when he was here .
Right now the best thing Cal has going for him is Z shooting the 3 from the top of the key which also opens the middle for Theiro and the rest of his team made up of mostly “slashers” . I’m interested to see what he does when transfer center from Tennessee gets healthy. Arkansas fans think he will be a big help , but when he plays what will happen with Z ? Kinda similar to us last year when we were missing our bigs early in the year and style of play suffered when they returned.
Yep pretty much. Although don’t think they will be as good in the regular season (this Arkansas team is much worse than our team last year or in 2021-22 for example)
******** read some of my posts on Cal. I'm just sick of him and all the negative crap associated with him. yet many of our fans can't move on. We got something positive going on here yet so many of you just want to wallow in Cal ****. The truth is that now that he is gone alot of folks don't give a rats rectum what he or Arkansas are doing.
