Thinking of smoking a nice pork butt and probably some fish on my green egg Saturday. That noon kick off game between OSU and TX is going to be outstanding. Looking forward to seeing what Arch Manning does at OSU. The games lined up all day Saturday into Saturday night is outstanding.

# 9 LSU vs. #4 Clemson should be a very good game as well. I am also interested in the Bama vs. FSU game. For me it will be interesting to see how FSU plays or gets blown out. Also of course watch the PSU game.

Hearing Paul Feinbaum say that Texas is going to win and that it won't even be close almost makes me want to root for OSU. Almost.

I'm actually fired up for next Thursday and Friday - first two NFL games. Tremendous amount of parity this year imho.

OSU lost a bunch. Granted they reload but it's the first game and TX is loaded and with experience. IMHO by game 4-5 OSU will look much better but it wouldn't surprise me totally to see TX win comfortably. I think Arch Manning is going to have a big game. Helps OSU being at home.
Interesting note for tonight's game Buffalo QB Ta'Quon Roberson will be behind center for the game with Minnesota.

It's not that I really want OSU to beat Texas... I just want them to be undefeated when we go into Columbus and beat them this year.

Normally I would side with OSU here especially at home, but something is telling me to take TX and Manning.
Is it the two TD loss they had to OSU in January? Manning is unproven. OSU gonna roll.
I don't think either is going to roll with the the line at -1.5. 1 thing Manning has is wheels. Much faster than his father and uncle. He can pull it down and take off. Should be a fun game to watch. Might be a rematch later in the playoffs later in the season as well.
I’ve always wondered why Texas went with Quinn Ewers. Physically, Ewers never could hold a candle to Manning.
