He might as well. He's already swinging on their nutz.come out of the closet OP.
I 2nd that md! so pethetic! He might as well. He's already swinging on their nutz.
You said they scored a TD after their game was over.Riiiiight. That's exactly it. I LIKE them which is why I bring up how they're light years ahead of us and today is the perfect microcosm of our situation.
Just me an my microwave mentality envious of some place doing things much better. I'll just be quietly miserable.
God knows venting frustration through envy isn't something a life-long UK fan should ever do.
My bad -- here we go bowling after this marvelous win! We found a legit SEC qb!! We found a legit SEC rb!!! Lamar who? Give me the skinny and slow qb we found today!
...there. Does that earn me my UK football fan badge back?
He didnt say TD, just that they scored. You said they scored a TD after their game was over.
Ah I see that makes more sense. He didnt say TD, just that they scored.
No explanation needed. Us old timers have seen this stuff so many times.... Better just to laugh it offSARCASM. To illuminate a point.
This situation is SO untenable for me -- someone whose first experience with UK football was a 10-1 season, beating Penn St., undefeated in the SEC, etc. I've tried so hard to be positive through the Alabama fiasco at Commonwealth in the early 80's (losing b/c we didn't field a Kickoff cleanly), Chris Doerring from NOWHERE in a game we had won, 4 plays from the 1 against UT, the Bluegrass "Miracle," taking Randall Cobb out of the game when they couldn't stop him first against S. Carolina then again against UT.
All that beat me down. But UofL being a legit national power is kicking me in the nuts while I'm down.
Sorry to have to point it out here -- I'd vent to my family but they all have sworn off UK football (as a sane person would) and are tired of listening to me.
I, am the fan, of constant SORROW.

Wait, I'm confused. What did they score?SARCASM. To illuminate a point.

Currently my hope resides on a new coach after next season. No hope for now, except maybe beating SCjr three years in a row. They only beat ECU 20-15 today.you are totally right...and usually that's my response too.
It's just that today w/ UofL doing what they did and exposing the true GULF between our program and theirs...I've run out of laughter AND tears. I'm teetering on the brink of the loss of hope...as a UKFB fan, "hope" is all we've EVER got and for some reason, God gave us UKFB fans way TOO MUCH hope for the future. It's almost as if eternal hope was given to us as a curse (Bear? Is that you?)
