Go Huskies. First, I like Dan Hurley. Second, I think uconn is the better team. Third, f*ck the b1g.

Tuning into this game really wanting to see “One Shining Moment” is like watching the Super Bowl just for the commercials. I’ve always liked “One Shining Moment” after the game.

It wasn' for Illinois women's winning the (checks notes), WBIT, the Big Ten would have been shut out of any postseason basketball chamionships. Way to go, Lady Dick Butkuses!

Big East rules. I thought UConn would win from the beginning of the tourney and when they announced the lineups last night I thought is was a sure thing. Purdue was so much smaller all around and for the first time purdue faced a tall center.

Big fast guys are better than small fast guys. Right!

I wouldn't pour dirt on Purdue's grave quite yet. They'll still return a lot, and Painter is a heck of a coach. They likely aren't Final Four caliber again, but I wouldn't bet against them being a top 25ish team.

Thought the best team won it all. Interesting mix of players -- old and new, size, abilities.

I thought UConnn really played the game to their strengths -- inside out, great movement, pick and rolls, screens, break when they could, and everyone played D. Well run, well coached team.

Makes me think about Penn State football: Me thinks Franklin is trying to do the same with the expanded playoff -- rely on some older kids with a mix of new and old (portal). Find the right schemes.

The final game, between South Carolina's Gamecocks and the University of Iowa's Hawkeyes, averaged about 18.7 million viewers and peaked at a whopping 24 million combined on ESPN and ABC, making it the first time in history that a women's final has drawn a larger TV audience than the men's, according to ESPN.

In contrast, the victory of the men's Division 1 UConn Huskies over Purdue averaged 14.82 million on TBS and TNT.

Women's game was aired by split OTA/Cable. Men's game exclusively on cable channels. Viewership advantage to the women's game but I can't say how much.
