Hey Vienna. Thanks for posting. Its B-Ball season now as well!
I have some thoughts about the game:
1. This will be the best shooting team we've had in a long time
2. BJ Mack will be fun to watch
3. We are lacking the bigs to really compete in the SEC
4. Improved talent and depth
I was on the fence with Lamont b/c I was on the fence with Frank. I feel that to define success needs to be based on the litmus of the program instead of the rest of the league. I do think that we will be better than last. I do like Lamont and the jury is out for sure. Last thing, the transfer guard from MN may be the biggest guard we've ever had. He would have been a #4 on last year's team. #55 for a guard is confusing to watch.
BTW...We won by 15 over these guys last year and almost 30 this year. Progess? Maybe?

Agree with all of your points. I think we'll struggle this year but we will show progress. I do like that we appear to have a good shooting team. We haven't been able to say that very often.
We shot 12-22 from the 3 tonight. Not too shabby. Can't expect to do that every game, though.......
Maybe not every game but two games in a row. You also can't expect this team to lay an egg from the 3 point line every game.
Didn’t hit many 3s in the 2nd half, but still scored in the paint, slashed to the rim. This team looks well balanced.
Long way to go. I’m a big fan of any coach who proves he can win big here though.
That said, this team has already accomplished more than last year’s team.
Beating Clemson and KY were pretty nice wins but in a way were fruitless when looking at the entire body of work. Looking at the schedule, we could be 4-0 when ND comes to Cola.
Yep! You could see the improvement in the 2nd half last year. This team will continue to improve.
