Just as a point of curiosity, I posted a message a few days back about Michael Rose Ivey and in the space of 23 responses we ended up talking about heavy metal bands. This "message creep" happens frequently. It happens on other sites as well. I wonder if there might be some federal dollars available to study this phenomenon. Maybe it has something to do with the environment effecting people's brains so they begin to drift off the subject. At a minimum there are plenty of opportunities for PhD thesis. Anyway it would be better than a degree in 18th century French poetry.

Finally, I wonder how long it will take this topic to drift. Can't wait till Saturday.

Drift Away, by Dobie Gray. The original--that's a good song.Cool Actually, Creep -- Stone Temple Pilots-- though not a metal band or song, is pretty good stuff, too.

I love the old reruns of Dobie Gillis. Bob Denver was better in that role than Gilligan.

Looking out
Across the nighttime
The city winks a sleepless eye
Hear her voice
Shake my window
Sweet seducing sighs

Get me out
Into the nighttime
Four walls won't hold me tonight
If this town
Is just an apple
Then let me take a bite

Where do we go from here,
Now that all of our children are grown ups.
And how do we spend our time,
Knowing that nobody gives us a Damn?

Denver is a great place to visit. And listening to metal while kissing a rose is making me paranoid.

Bob Ross hated his afro. He got it when he was poor in order to save money on haircuts. When he started to make money, he kept it because it was something of a trademark look

Well the aau would probably count this as solid research at cal, Michigan and Wisconsin (who is praised on happiness research) while arguing that ag research is discredited at unl.
