What do we think about these first conference matchups?

SE was up on Grimsley real late in the 3rd 14-12 last year and gave it away. I wonder/hope they can pull it off Friday.

Northwest will be a tough out for any team in the Metro. Can’t wait until they play Page,SE, Grimsley and NG.

Grimsley record wise may finish undefeated in the regular season but they do not look like a great team on film. I wouldn’t be shocked if SE pulled it off. All it take is a bad game or a few mistakes.

I agree with that! I do think they could lose 1-2 conference games if not careful.

Not to take away from SE but that’s what happened against Dudley. They fumbled the snap a lot, threw a pick 6 and dropped a wide open TD and couldn’t recover from it against a good team. I haven’t seen Grimsley make costly mistakes but I’m hoping they do this week. I’m a Southeast fan this Friday that’s for sure.

Me 3...I'll be at the SW-Page game. SW is still finding their identity but they have some dogs and their defense is pretty solid and Page is bringing the heat as well. I'm definitely biased, but I got SW by 3-7

I wouldn’t be surprised by who wins that match up but I do expect Page to win it a little more. Keep us updated on that match up Friday if you can.

It could really go either way...however, I have vested interest in SW, my son plays and I coached several of those boys in middle school
