Yeah there have been costly dropped passes and mental errors, but the difference in athletes is glaring.

Then why did we win by a bunch last year...17 point lead in the 4th.

BTW...Miami's running back last year was a stud. He's sharing starting time at running back in Cleveland.

Take AA off last years team and Miami beats Nebraska handily, this while having a true freshman qb starting his first road game ever in college...

Are you expecting us to lose to Wisconsin by 5 touchdowns this year based on last years game?

A year can make a big difference. Miami has been emerging from a period of sanctions and last year Kaaya was playing his second or third game of college football ever.

The TV announcers just summed it up. NU doesn't have any playmakers. Athletes can make up for mental errors or being out of position. Watch film of the 95 Huskers to see how a fast defense can fly to the ball even when they are out of position.

I would add that gregory made a Huge difference last year and he in all honesty should still have his druggy butt here.

If FAU had some depth then Miami probably wouldn't have had such an easy second half against them but the first half FAU showed who Miami was. Nebraska right now is just a mess of a team with no identity. We have enough talent to have a better showing than FAU but that didn't happen. :Last season Nebraska was a more stable program so that has to count for something.

Its amazing the difference one good player makes in the college game. Get a few of them on the same team and you can really do some damage.
