I understand and agree but if the Senate won't cooperate, the job is only half done and fails and then what do you have? Dems can't shoot and miss and then take a chance on letting Trump win again. It seems like they'll just keep shining the light of day on various potentially criminal acts that Trump has made during his term to help to insure that folks (continue to) see who he really is as we head toward 2020. Surely that will help (if they need it) independents come over to the good side and retire Trump to prison or let him scurry back to his shady business dealings.

Then blame the Senate after you do your job. Excusing your behavior because of what you think someone else will do is maddening to me. You think impeachment proceedings, inquiries, etc will actually help Trump? Give me a break. This is EXACTLY what Trumpers want (no impeachment proceedings). But that shouldn't matter. Congress needs to start doing their jobs. Not just this, but trade, immigration, etc.

And they might but they also realize that they need public support to be successful so right now they seem to be doing about everything legal and possible to gather and expose this admin's wrong doings. I'd love to see Trump facing impeachment proceedings next year leading right up the election. Trump likes high drama and he'd certainly get it with that scenario and I agree with you that that would not be a good look for Trump as long as a majority of the public didn't think it was frivolous and to me, obstruction of justice is not frivolous. They can't say enough times that Trump would be indicted right now if he was anyone else.

Lindsay Graham backed off his investigation after hearing about Dunham. Said he didn't wan't to interfere with a criminal investigation. Then he learned it wasn't a criminal investigation, but a review and now he plans to investigate the investigators again (#4!!). I guess the real grand juries were the friends we made along the way.

Synonyms are great, but irrelevant to DOJ policy. US Attorneys investigate crimes and do reviews that hold no subpoena powers. The basic predicate for a CRIMINAL investigation has not been met.

No they can't. They have been specifically appointed by Barr (Durham was, Huber was appointed by Sessions many months ago) to investigate. They are not employees of the DOJ. They can't even issue subpoenas. LOL!

Only the NYT has said that and they said review. Review synonym for Investgate. Listen to the former U.S. Attorney to DC explain it. I shared that info days before this interview. Interview also has another Former U.S. Attorney breaking it down for you. Now how did I know ? Psst... worst kept secret ever.

Lol ... what part of grand juries are seated don't you understand. Sealed Indictments ... get familiar with that. By the end of summer this all makes more sence.

I find it hard to believe that Congress sent over the recommendations for prosecution, and the DOJ couldn't find a scintilla of corruption.
