Could 'cloud storage accounts" be significant here? I'm about as removed from being computer literate as possible. But my understanding is that this platform is widely used in game analysis and breakdown by D1 schools. Could it be that the investigation of "identity theft," inadvertently led to the discovery of the spy/scouting scandal? It would follow that authorities or someone inside tipped off the NCAA about the mere "violations?"

I'm an old guy. So I'm sure there is something very basic that I'm missing. So please enlighten me. Without in anyway exonerating or justifying what MW did here.......don't parent's, guidance counselors, or what we used to call common sense tell people not to post nudes or "intimate moments" in any fashion on any platform? I'm trying to understand how a young lady would see this as ending well?

I’m sure you did things your parents or school counselors told you not to do. It’s the same thing. And if you want to take nudes of yourself, you shouldn’t have to worry about a scumbag football coach illegally accessing them.

I certainly did things that my parents would not have approved of. Still do, I guess. That doesn't help me understand why I would be motivated to take nudes pictures of myself or a video of me participating in a sex act....and share it.....even with a select # of people.
Not being obstinate....I just can't wrap my head around this behavior.
Also, that doesn't justify MW.....as I stated in my earlier post.

You and I are not of this generation. My parents couldn’t understand people smoking pot, their parents couldn’t understand rock and roll……… on and on it goes.

I never smoked pot either. I enjoyed the nectar of the gods too much.

The whole sensing nudes to people thing is beyond me as well. I don’t get it and I’ve had the conversation with students about it as well. But it seems to be a thing a lot of them do. As bad an idea as it is, me telling them about it doesn’t seem to stop it from happening. Different generations.

I judge it as assumption of risk. As I posted earlier, I never used drugs. Despite the fact that my college experience was 1968-72. I enjoy beer and I also saw some of my fraternity brothers go to prison for significant time. To me, the experience wasn't worth rolling the dice.
Sharing intimate photos or videos invites circumstances over which you have no control. I guess my advice would be....if you won't be embarrassed if these images leak out, then go for it.

It said he only perved on "athletes". So thankfully no Todd Richard Branch, or his mole people offspring nudes are forthcoming.
