After probables came out I realized this dual is a toss up and might come down to bonus.
Iowa -1.5
O/U 5.5 wins if Dean goes. 4.5 if he doesn’t

Their lines have it 6 to 4 in favor of Iowa. favored at 125, 133, 157 (with JW a slight favorite and not sure he actually goes), 165, 174, 184.
Do they have a team score spread? I do not have an iphone or else I would check myself. Thanks in advance.

We’ve hit rock bottom, though next year looks much worse without Mikey, PK and Drake. Sure hope those future years pan out!

Big match for Telford. He needs a good win and the dual could come down to his match with Ghadilai. 157 could be a fun matchup. The Michigan kid can score points. If Peterson doesn’t go, we could be toast, unless Drake and Cali bonus.
I honestly don't think it will be close. Iowa will roll over them.

Even though PSU dominated the dual meet, Michigan competed hard. I was impressed with some of their performances. It will take our best effort.
Interestingly enough, Rutgers beat Minnesota and Minnesota beat us.. therefore, let’s up it to at least 0.1% chance.

This dual is a bad matchup for Iowa. Clearly, Iowa is a significantly better team overall, but where Michigan has ducks at 133 and 165, Iowa has hammers where it would only take mid level guys to get bonus. On the other hand, Iowa's duck is at 197 where Michigan only has a mid level guy who would be beaten by a hammer, but instead is probably going to negate Cali's bonus points. 157 is going to be a key. Catrabone really lets it fly, and he's a pinner. You can't get caught there. He gave Duke a real struggle. That match was the highlight of their whole dual.
Drake and Cali will both get tech falls Friday and standing ovations. I don't know that it comes down to it but BK and Ghadilai will be a great match. Hope to see the fire we saw at MSU to close out our last home dual of year.
Match ups make duals and the match ups don't favor Iowa
Believe it or not but Michigan holds one of the "tighter" all-time series records versus Iowa in Wrestling than everyone (Save Oklahoma State) Iowa leads the series 34-27 All-Time but Michigan has been a bigger "Thorn-in-the-side" to Iowa wrestling over the years than most everyone else.

133 - Ayala by tech 8-0
141 - Toss up, lean Ragusin? 8-3
149 - Toss up, lean McNeil 8-6
157 - Toss up, lean Catrabone 8-9
165 - Caliendo tech 13-9
174 - Toss up, lean PK 16-9
184 - Toss up, lean Mantanona 16-12
(174/184 are so close, so I had them split. Iowa's guys might be better overall, but the Mantanona's are super tough style match ups for both PK and Gabe)

285 - Toss up, lean Ghadiali 16-18
Very tough dual. A lot depends on which versions of Bailey/Williams we get. Iowa really takes control of the dual if those guys wrestle to their capability and win 141/157. Just hard to pick them when they've been so volatile.
Bailey wasn't listed in the probables I don't think. It's time for Kale to shine

I concur. But this Mich team should not be able to beat an Iowa team. They are ranked 15th in the country and we're talking about them potentially beating us. Sad...
