If KW's heart is in it, and this isn't just a money grab, then Michigan did really great, especially under the circumstances. I didn't know he was 66 though, and i can't really pretend to understand why he would do this. The state of Utah is amazing, and he could live anywhere there and afford it. Really strange to me he's doing this.

Michigan is amazing too. It’s not the topography of Utah but it’s a very beautiful state

Come to think of it, Whittingham has never been part of the Get-Paid-Millions-to-Not-Coach Club. So maybe he figures he’ll give it a couple of years and if the divas in Ann Arbor decide it’s time to move on, he’ll ride into the sunset with a $30-40 million parachute. It’s really some brilliant financial planning on his part.
