It's true.
Another tidbit is there is no alcohol allowed in the McCaskey's box in Soldier Field. "Grandma says this is an office and you don't drink at work."
That rule has been broken at least once ... when the Dead played their last show.
I have been thinking about something for quite a while and I'd like to throw it out there.
Remember in the not so distant past how awful the Blackhawks were? Then the long time owner, Bill Wirtz, passed away. Rocky took the team over and the organization was completely turned around. From home games being televised to building a team that has won 3 championships and has been in the thick of things for years.
Is it possible when Virginia McCaskey passes the same thing could happen with the Bears? I am not wishing her ill, but she is 95. I am wondering what some of the thoughts on this board are concerning that.
I can understand being skeptical because I was skeptical about the Hawks initially and was happy to be wrong.
