I'd like to see him win it back in the 2nd half with a comeback but doesn't look good against a nice Vandy defense.
Stoops isn't getting fired. Not this year. He has at least two more years. I'm starting to doubt him as a coach but that is the reality. He isn't getting fired this year or next unless we absolutely tank.
2 more years of this, and there will not be 10 people in the stands. There may not be that many next week for that matter.
Here is the deal...Mitch inked Stoops to 6 mkore years at 3.25M per season at mid point of last year. UK can't eat that much cash...Stoops has 2-3 more years even if he losses them all. Stupid job, again, by Mitch to leverage UK like this yet again.

It would take another fan revolt for Stoops to get fired. As long as our fans continue to show up (which it takes a heck of a lot for them not to bc of their loyalty) Mitch won't even consider making a change. Mitch realizes our football fans' undying loyalty and he'll milk it for all its worth as he's done time and time again during his tenure.
Exactly right. The only way Stoops is fired is if Mitch goes first. If that were to somehow happen, the Stoops would be gone immediately. Mitch may be the only man left in the country who believes he's head coach material.
I think you'd be surprised at how less than 10k fans at games can do towards replacing the coach.

Stoops deserves 5 years from a recruiting standpoint, but deserves less because of horrible coaching.
this is fact. Mitch likes his hires cheap and in over their heads. this game not even on his radar. low expectation fans will ride to Mitch's rescue again
Whats the definition of insanity? Keep hiring coaches with zero experience and hoping for different results. Next person that needs to go is the man responsible for that nonsense. If Stoops fails this will be his third disastrous hire for the 2 major programs.
I can't complain. While it's nice to be great in the Olympic sports, they don't bring in the money and perception. Don't forget, baseball is tanking too
