I'm not a firm believer in the whole you only drop in rankings if you lose thing that he runs over there.

I'd like to know he reasoning for the big downgrade for PR. It's not like they graduated their studs or anything.

Maybe it's something medicinal.

How is mc ranked 15 is beyond me. I personally see them going 5-4 and squeaking into the playoffs because of the soft schedule on the front end.

For starters pc or br. Mc was 4- 5 last year losing to every team in the blue. Pc brings back something like 17 starters . I understand they were 4-5 last year as well
So in my opinion not deserving for that ranking but defiantly more deserving then mc. Br while they lost a lot from last year their offensive system has given mc fits ever since badke has taken over. Mc is 3-9 In the blue over the last 3 years and I don't really see that changing. There is a reason they chose to step out of the blue in 18 and 19. I would just like to here your reasoning of mc over any other team in the blue because I just simply don't see it.

He's a good hoops writer. Knows a lot about High school basketball but don't think he researches football as much as he does basketball.

I would tend to agree with you. Recent history is not on MC's side. And they lost a ton of transfers.

This is a big year for PC. As you stated, they have a lot coming back. This is supposed to be a strong Sr. class. Missing the playoffs for three straight years would not go over well in New Lenox.

Big fan of QB Alek Thomas running that offense to start, still some skills left and the defense I believe has 6-7 starters back.....again no question I could be dead wrong on MC and will admit it if I am....I just don't see anything in the CCL Blue that makes me feel like I completely missed the boat...for now at least.

Alex Thomas is a great athlete, but what makes an option qb so great is not just athleticism but the repetition that makes running that offense like second nature.. with him missing a third of the season for baseball i dont think that fairs well for the mc offense as electric of a player ad he is i think he will put the ball on the ground alot.
