No disrespect to Toledo or ISU, but not sure why Warren would go there over UK unless I'm missing something.

Alright, I'm going to spoil it. His offer has been rescinded. He's listing UK for practical purposes, but he does not have an official offer and is not being recruited by UK any longer.
When UofL realized Hudson isn't going there, they likely made it clear to Warren that he wasn't a take alone. There's something going on behind the scenes with this young man - his film is very good. I wish him the best.
Coaches may be wondering if he is going to be able to fully commit himself now that he has a kid. Some players have the support in place to manage being a father and student athlete but many don't
He's like the kids UL currently has at RB on their depth chart...good inside runner, but doesn't have the speed or cutback ability to raise fear in any of their opponents.

Earlier on another thread I said as a joke that we should offer him a preferred walk-on spot, now that I've thought about it I think that might be a seriously good idea. He's not elite but he is a good player that could get better, and maybe he would view walking onto an SEC team better than playing in the MAC.

Ok enough about that i just want to let you know a little about the koback kid.. i literally live one block away from the family and have known them for close to 35 yrs.. im worried alot of you are putting him on a pedistal and im not really sure its justified.. he is a very good back but to even think he is anywhere on par with boom or even the warren kid is crazy.. my family is very involved with sports in the toledo ohio area and my son who played with him at school and have all said the same thing that he is not a elite back.. now please dont kill the messenger as i bleed blue thru and thru. But i want some of you that think he is the next boom i would hold out to see him in person.
im not sure if most of you know that coach marrow was our high schoool coach for springfield high and he is very close with the family so i can see no reason he would decomit . Just figured you would like to know a little inside info..

Thanks for the info. One thing we have right now is a good group of running backs. If Koback doesnt work out we have others to fill in. Yes its unreasonable for some on here to put him on a pedastal like they do but thats something you see about every recruit we get.
Nobody is saying he is at that level yet. People are excited about his physical tools, not his elite production in comparison to other elite backs (which is the other half of the equation).
He's a fairly bulky kid that runs a 4.30 forty. He can catch a football (invaluable tool out of the backfield, especially with this kind of speed), and he does show off some solid moves while running the ball.
Nobody is saying he's the next Boom, although nobody is ruling it out. We're saying he's going to be a better college back than Warren, and in all likelihood, he will be. Warren is power dependent in his running, but is not big enough to be that way in the SEC. He doesn't have a burst of speed. Koback shows more in the way of an SEC caliber back, not reliant on any one skill while running the ball, so you take Koback and call it a day.
I would say becasue Toledo is home and has been to and won bowl games in 2014 and 2015. ISU who knows.
He ran a 4.3 at a UK football camp I believe. Coaches at UK saw it with their own eyes.
ain't nobody thinking Koback is our only future, all the eggs in one basket. the depth at running back now & in future seasons is pretty far back in worries or concerns for UK football. if he comes in & plays great, fantastic, if he doesnt we have others to hand the ball off too.

Welcome aboard. Not questioning your info, but if he is not on Warren's level then I would conclude he is definitely a miss and everyone, including the staff has overvalued him. If you have followed Warren's recruitment I'm sure you are familiar with the lack of interest in him from virtually any P5 team.
In defense of Warren he could say the same about Koback. Neither one has umpteen schools beating their door down this summer.
We never know both kids could really excel this upcoming season and be top ranked kids.
No offense, but you sound like the jealous parent down the block. Koback has impressed the coaches and our own Justin Rowland. No offense to you or your family, but I trust Stoops and his staff more than you and your son. That might sound harsh, but you shouldn't have chosen to make your first post about putting down a current commit.
Warren was at UofL camp recently, and I was told he wasn't very impressive looking compared to the others. As a result, he didn't receive an offer. If that's true, then he is likely not on the level as the guys you currently have, so you may be better off going in another direction.

JoJo Kemp plays his heart out and won a lot of games for us.
Mikel Horton is the only one who hasn't performed to his level but without him we get beat by UL-L last year.

AJ Rose is a prototypical SEC type of RB.. 6'2 200 pounds.
Koback is very good too.. Real fast.

Well you can believe anything ya want.. im far from a discrutled parent. My family is very active with uk and im a season ticket holder in football and travel to games 5 to 6 times a yr from toledo so please don't assume anthing i want him to succeed. I love his family im just giving you my option. I wish it wasnt because i have a real connection with his family. Just trying to temper some of your lofty expectations
I think I'd trust the coaching staff and their evaluation of recruits over someone who just make an account and is from Toledo, where ironically is where Warren is from. You have to be a family member.
I stand by what I stated. You chose to come on here and put down Koback. No one on here has put lofty expectations on him. I've hardly even seen a peep about him on here. You seem too quick to jump on here to justify putting Koback down.
I have known and have been friends of the family since i have been 7 yrs old and im 45 now so why would i not want the kid to be good.. just think alot or

Jojo was a good pickup with not many options once Stoops was hired. Snell and Rose haven't played a down. I'll temper my expectations. Horton isn't a sec back. King seems like he has the speed and quickness to be a major threat but is still somewhat unproven.

My extended family was a big big part of the funding for uk as they are big coal exec.. so please dont ever call out my fandom.
