Agreed and it "seems" his confidence shooting the ball has improved. Known as a shooter coming out of high school one has to hope that his shot returns on a consistent basis now that the schedule toughens up.Since he stepped on the court freshman year. Mike gives it his all.
Carino said Nigel left the game limping. Didn't want to start a new thread on that, but is there an update? He had a solid game. I'm happy for him. I think not having to handle the ball as much because we have Nigel this year has helped
Thanks, Sideline! It looked like Nigel was hobbling around with about 8 min left in the 2nd half. He came out of the game. He did go back in with about 4 minutes left and seemed to be moving around as usual. I think he is going to be ok.
Mike was almost a one man show tonight..Every big basket, big rebound, big dive on the fall, defending all over the court, dribbling thru double teams. Mike loves coming home and had a real good game against Vanderbilt at Barclays his freshman year. He plays like a tough NyC guard which we need more of down the road . His shot was on and his drive to the hoop through traffic was terrific. When he air balled that 3 from the corner late in the game I was in shock since things were falling all day.Plays with incredible heart. My favorite player...
