Didn't she transfer because she was coming off of the bench and wanted to start? At LSU, she is coming off of the bench and not starting. Hmmm. Was there something else?

She is averaging 17.7 ppg this season vs 11.7 ppg for the last two season, so however LSU is using her, it seems to be a better fit for her so far.

However as you know, LSU hasn't even come close to playing any decent competition. With Duke falling out of the Top 25, they won't see a ranked opponent until the new year. I have checked a highlight stream of every one of LSU's games. Milaysia is getting practically the same shots that she got here, she is just making more of them and of course its a small sample size. I think you would need to see her against some competition that wouldn't get beat by Clemson by 20 before drawing any conclusions to what LSU or Fulwiley is doing right now.

MiLaysia Fulwiley opens up about why she transferred from South Carolina to LSU

The LSU women's basketball team is back on campus with the start of the academic year and is participating in preseason conditioning sessions. Among the Tigers' new additions is MiLaysia Fulwiley, the former South Carolina guard who averaged 11.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game for the coach Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks last season.

On Monday, Sports Illustrated published a new edition of "Around the W" with Fulwiley as the special guest. Host Maria Clifton asked Fulwiley why she picked SEC rival LSU to join this season.

"South Carolina's a great program, but I'm from there," Fulwiley said. "I've been there my whole life. [The] school is like 15 minutes away from my house, 12, so I kind of felt like I just needed a new environment. A new, fresh start.

"I feel like everyone deserves a new, fresh start. While in college, while you have the chance to just leave, I think that's when you should do it because in the W, you can't just say you want to leave type way. It doesn't work. I think it was more of me wanting a different environment and just seeing my goals and seeing where I want to be, seeing how those things align and I felt like that would be the best move."

Good kid. Talented but continued to play out of control. She'd make a few highlight reel plays but follow them up with some really bad plays. Wishing her the best.

A blind man could see it from that statement, a lot of I and me in there!

You forgot to qualify this as, "I wish her the best, except when USC is in town." For that, I hope she bricks every shot.
