Yes, he has been a non-contributor along with Woodyard and a few other receivers all year.

I think the problem with Jones is he’s a worst version of the only position we have depth at. He can play the same role basically as Wandale or JD. We are using Robinson too much at RB. That’s another issue. Anyways Miles just not as talented as them. It’s time to get size at wide out and quick and something nasty upfront on the o-line. I’m actually not too worried on the D-Line. We’ve recruited well there. They are just young and need to add weight.

Betts can’t get here soon enough and if he doesn’t make it on campus, that’s a bad beat we really can’t afford

I was thinking Washington should move more into a receiver role. He seems to do better there, and has good size. Having him do regular running back stuff, esp up the middle stuff just doesn't work that well.

They’ve got to do something. We’ve got guys who can succeed on the perimeter but we keep trying to use them between the tackles. I don’t know... it’s like watching a monkey trying to ‘have the sex with a football’. Just makes no sense. And I can’t explain this dumb **** anymore. I really have nothing

So Miles cant run into the line of scrimmage like the others.

Not a sweep play or nothing.

Coaching is terrible.

Not great at anything and a horrible blocker.

He is injured too...ankle...and he doesn't have "his game" if he can't cut

I just wonder how durable this team is in general. We complained a lot about "soft tissue injuries" under Riley. All I see this year is player after player going down at the skill positions. Even the kicker FFS. Questions about how durable Mo would be were asked a lot last year. It is not looking good in retrospect.

Problem is, I think, we're trying to be a UCF style team in the B1G and that apparently is just not going to work. Frost needs to adjust to the B1G (not the other way around as he once bragged). We need some much more talented OL for sure (think he is doing that) but we also need more durable receivers and running backs (don't think he's addressed that nearly enough).

I actually think it is just the opposite, he doesn't have the personnel yet to do what he wants to do and has gotten too far away from "his offense"...we aren't fast paced at all and i think he has gone too much the other way trying to grind.

The OL isn't athletic enough yet to do all of the pulling and mis-direction that is in his core offense. He can plug in Wandale and a healthy Mo and JD, etc, right away but as we all know the OL is not plug and play typically so I anxiously await last year's class maturing and getting Turner and Teddy into the system

100% agree. They should move Mo to WR full time and Wan'dale to RB because Mo is never going to be an inside runner.

Yeah this OL is absolutely putrid. What a waste of Jaimes' eligibility this year has been up front

Personally I'm okay with playing a RB who is just solid and can run inside. I've seen way too much of Mo just running in to a pile and falling down. Belt could do it and may have to with Mazour and now Wandale out.

Jaimes isnt all that great either.

Jaimes is the one decent to good one we have. And being fair with Farniok, he should be a guard. Guard playing tackle usually doesn’t work well. At least next year we should be able to slide Farniok over to guard and we can get Bryce Benhart going at Tackle.

And how is sliding Farniok to guard going to make him any tougher? He is soft, plain and simple. If he is starting next year, same old, same old, IMHO.

I thought I saw Mazour didn't travel, anyone know his status?

he’s a f_cking guard playing tackle. He’s not exactly soft, he’s just getting beat off the edge because he’s not athletic enough to play tackle. There isn’t many legit guards like him that can pay tackle (it’s why they guard to start with) and still play good without looking very bad. You put his big butt at guard and put a legit tackle (like Bryce Benhart) next to him and we will see some issues calm down a bit.

If that was the case, how come they don't have Benhart playing RT right now?

Jaimes isnt all that great either.
He's been bull rushed right back into the qb and it wasn't just against Minnesota. We have such a narrow pocket a lot of times it's impossible for the qb to step up or do much of anything with the ball. Jaimes is a horrible run blocker too. There's not one guy on our OL who is good.
