Miller's offense coming around. A couple nice buckets getting to the rim and a nice move in the lane for a jumper
He's really starting to play well and contribute. Another example of Pikes ability to identify talent. He'll never be a star but you need guys that can give 15 minutes of excellent defense and a handful of points. Like what i'm seeing from him.

Today was the most encouraging game for him yet. He can stay in the rotation and not be a liability if he can give us something - ANYTHING - on offense.

There is no doubt Simpson is very talented. On November 26th he is not ready. He is a 2 guard, at least right now.
This 100%. And it’s not a knock to him at all. Geo was in the exact same situation as a frosh. Even as a sophomore ball handling held us back when it was just Geo with frosh Caleb as his back up at point.

One thing that can be said for Miller his ball handling has been in control from day one. He’s never been a dazzling distributor but he doesn’t do dumb things and protects the ball.

Geo did not play point as a frosh. Corey played 33+ mpg of point - translates to close to 100% of meaningful minutes at the 1. He didn’t average more minutes because the team was terrible and the other 7 mpg were likely from garbage time of blow out losses.

We were not a good ball handling team the following year when Geo and Caleb played point for the first time.
