125 DeLUCA zeros in 1st, I feel IOWA controlled center and was more aggressive but need to fire off some shots. Miss down and DeLUCA with TUFF ride , claw, spiral maybe a little BLAIR in there with some good mat returns gets ride out. IOWA down start 3 and out quick with a nice grandby!!! Tweeks knee to give us all a good heart attack I guess!?!?!?. Gets FIRST WIN!!! Give him the 8three

133 AYALA Got in deep early and maybe let of the gas some??? let kid off the hook but kept pressure on to finally score late.MISS down start 2 basicly cuts him. MISS in deep but UNREAL scramble to CRADLE for the stick!!! 99

141BAILEY came out fast on attack then slowed some. No real attempts by either guy. IOWA down start 2 out quick, again not much action. MISS down TUFF ride, some tilt attempts etc... no points but gets a ride out and win 80

149BLOCK a "delay of game" for some reason not sure why. Match finally gets going and a headlock by MISS and somehow BLOCK fights it off!?!?!? 1st ends zeros as block runs outa time on a nice single shot. MISS down start 2 and BLOCK rides for about 30. Don't think he trusts his stuff enough and should have been more aggressive. He did get a stall call against MISS. IOWA down out quick no more scoring goes OT. Still no scoring goes to double OT. 157 WILLIAMS couple of attempts snap, spin, single but no points and maybe should have done a bit more? MISS down start2 out quick. Another deep shot but countered well and WILLIAMS does a great job not giving up TD. IOWA down start 3 and out with a Grandby then MISS in deep and IOWAs turn to counter which WILLIAMS is pretty sick at!!! Gets cradle TD and backs. 86

165 CALIENDO comes out aggressive which we need more of from all our guys. SLICK counter for 1st TD MISS down start 2MICKEY committed to ride and gets ride out!!!Chooses down 3 out quick another counter to TD then cuts him and hits NICE duck gets MAJOR 95

174 KENNEDY his opponent HAIR BALL I guess wants to be a REF as he is pointing to things not sure what??? anyway he gets a TD off IOWAS pressure and him playing the back up game. KENNEDY only has one gear and that is FORWARD!!! KENNEDY with TUFF ride MISS stalling IOWA down IOWA out KENNEDY scares poor hair ball off the mat as he goes running for his momma!!! KENNEDY takes down after MOMMA smacks SHeeeeettt outa kid IOWA wrestles TUFF N smart for the win!!! 80something

184 FERRARI - shot IOWA reshot MISS FERRARI split to kick out, would hate to wrestle this kid!!!! SO hard to score on!!! zeros end one, MISS down 2nd TUFF ride by IOWA but need a little more for RT. IOWA down start 3 and out quick. no more scoring we head to OT. There was an UNREAL scramble off FERRARIs shot. Felt he should have finished there!?!? we go to double OT or whatever you call it these days??? IOWA gets OUT MISS can not but gets a stall call FERRARI WINS on RT time!!!

Block got called for stalling in the rideout so his riding time stopped while he was on the leg. It was only 1 second of riding time stoppage but if Edmond rode him out Block would lose on that 1 second difference.

I'm more inclined to give Block an A. He did a great job staying off his back early and gave up nothing, and had some good defense the rest of the way. Plus he had a couple of really nice shots, little time left got him on one of them.

I thought he looked really good compared to the guy we saw last year, and Edmunds is ranked #6. He's not great, but that's a really solid start for Block. Gas tank looked pretty good too.

It's just one match, but he looks like the guy at 149 to me. I was pleasantly surprised how well he did in all area's, and my expectations for him were pretty low. Well done kid.

Yea, you guys are right!!! Deserves higher based on opponent which I certainly didn't weigh heavy enough! GREAT news for US as I think he is even better then he showed there. Hope he gains a lot of confidence and keeps moving forward!!!

They will not remember Starrocci wrestling the same way and Iowa fans won't realize them arguing against Ferrari being a "stalker" will sound a lot like PSU fans of the past 5 years. Can't wait. I thought Block looked great. Edmond is very explosive and Block shut him down. I like where he’s at this early in the season !!!

Starrocci may not have done the knee slide backwards but after spending 5 years watching him I am comfortable saying he was not exactly exciting to watch UNLESS he was on your favorite team. Either way, if Ferrari wins as much as I expect itl be the same thing. You can dislike the style but the results are what matter.

AJ is boring also, unless he totally overmatches someone. Remember, Angelo teched his first opponent this year. He was still more aggressive from his feet than his opponent was, which I think was Askren and his strategy to win, and it almost worked. After Angelo figured out he was just waiting for him to take his favorite 1 or 2 shots then counter him, so he started faking more shots and became very cautious. I’ll give Sinclair credit for escaping what looked like a sure takedown for Angelo, and then reversing it to have Angelo in big trouble. Not sure how Angelo didn’t then give up the takedown. That scramble made the match, and proved these two are very hard to finish on.

He looked the part of a competent DI wrestler, for the first time from my perspective. #6 or #16, it's a good win as you stated. Hope he's able to keep some good mojo going.

I have a hard time giving anyone an a that doesn't score a takedown. Ferrari was obviously an exception to that standard though. Fighting the headlock in the first period was tough tho
