I don't think he's a nice guy. He has contempt for his own fanbase. "Microwave society" is what he REALLY thinks of us.
Mitch was not allowed to make the basketball hire. He was opposed to Cal in every way possible and finally the money boys decided other wise. Something has changed on the fb side that had not been there before. Today we have great facilities. Before we didn't. Course throw in a crazy fan base that no matter seems to stick with the team (me incl). A great TV contract. The SEC league and of course the most popular team in the state. I am done with this team. Sorry boys but your in over your head. Coach has to go. We need to swing for the fences. 5-6-7 million dollars a year for a high quality coach. Who is it? Have no clue but he is out there. It disgusts me I have been a fan for almost 60 years and this is the norm.
We've been slow roasting pure **** for 40 years. If that's what he truly thinks when we're routinely in the top 25 of attendance and yet haven't put a top 25 product on the field since elvis was still alive, then there are no words to describe the stupidity.

He took a risk hiring Stoops, which I can understand. However, the large raise and contract extension that Barnhart gave to Stoops was incredibly bad. Stoops's agent destroyed Barnhart in that contract negotiation. From refusing to let Joker go until the fans forced the issue to gifting Stoops the massive raise and extension, Barnhart has badly mismanaged the football program. I don't want him making another coaching hire.
Stoops and Mitch must of gotten their guide to a football program from Ikea. Instructions for football but all that was assembled was a train wreck

Yup Barnhart has to be gone. Letting joker take he reigns without any coaching search. Putting a coach with no head coaching experience into the hot mess that is uk football.

This thing could out of control in a hurry. I personally think they win 4 games and the crowds are going to be scarce. He may have to pull a rabbits out of his hat. He may not have any choice. There may be wholesale changes, I would not be surprised by anything. I think this thing has gotten to point of no going back, play on field and fan unrest. I think it is close to almost running completely off the road.
Barnhart can't be trusted to make ice water. He is a total clown. The high profile sports today are- football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball. He has been an abject failure in all of them. I don't count Cal because he deserves no credit for the hire. And Mitchell? He should have been fired at the end of the year. Football and baseball are total jokes and his hires speak for themselves.
