Seriously.....when (not if) Stoops is relieved of his duties, Barnhart should follow him out the door...

Mitch won't be held accountable. I promise you. As long as basketball is going well Mitch won't feel any heat whatsoever. It would take a complete boycott by the fans and even then it would be tough because of Mitch's excellent decision making in giving Stoops a contract extension with an insane buyout.
Whoever Stoops' agent is definitely needs to get a big raise. He has to love making a fool of howdy doodies like Barnhart who are sitting there smiling spending the millions of hard earned dollars that our loyal football fans spend and transferring it to the rifle team and women's soccer.
I can't imagine there would be a lot of Barnhart defenders in the UK basketball program. Certainly not Cal.
Are you talking about the guy who went behind closed doors, eff'd up our logo beyond all recognition and then told you to STFU and buy some new T-shirts? Not bloody likely.

The massive pay raise and contract extension that Mitch gifted to Stoops was a really bad move. I don't want Barnhart involved at all with the next football coach hire. Whenever we can afford to fire Stoops, Barnhart should leave with him.
Barnhart isn't cut out to be an AD at Morehead much less UK.
Barnhart is clueless. If it weren't for former players, we wouldn't have Cal. I don't care what Pratt says. He's just covering for Mitch. I've defended and stood up for Stoops all along. But no more. He was out coached and is in over his head. I'm sick of a losing FB program. Not gonna quit rooting for them. But not gonna care as much anymore. I'm gonna root for Clemson to win it all this year and enjoy the game I love most, college football. I don't know if we can ever have a winning program at UK. Not sure any decent coaches would wanna deal with our AD.
Mitch has never done a thing here for either sport. The boosters went over his head to get Cal. He doesn't even oversee basketball. Peevey does.
Mitch's only decent hire was Brooks. And who knows what would have happenend in the brooks era without one of the most talented crop of in state kids to come thru in decades (including woodson, tamme and burton) and a guy that fell in our lap in Cobb.
But hey, at least our gymnastics and rifle teams are decent.
He just got a contract extension through 2022 and the president of the University apparently loves him. He's not going anywhere unless he decides to step down or go on a mission trip.
