Then he writes a contract that gives an extra year and an extra $250K to a UK basketball coach for going to the Sweet 16. He also had to pay BYU $6 million to buy Pope out from them.

I wonder if players and coaches steer clear of here because of some of the relentless toxicity they read online. Its an online world now. We sure strike out a lot lately.

If its any bit true that mitch was basing his hires on religious family-men.. in this line of work.. he should be fired immediately.

Im not trying to poo-poo religion. In a perfect world, you get both. But if true, then we severely hamstrung ourselves with a coaching hire. We're trying to win games, thats it.
