He could have just gave Calapari new facilities ten years ago after a historical run. Could have fired Stoops five years ago. Do we as fans not have any options to put heat on Mitch? Seriously

He is the source of all our problems. He is clueless and doesn't seem to even care about winning. Not a competitive bone is his body.
yea if I had known mitch was going to hire an unqualified coach to take the helm (pope's resume) ... I would have been fine keeping Cal for 3 more years until the new AD could hire a correct replacement.
The only probably was, Cal had got on so many peoples bad side, I'm not sure there would have been much NIL.
I almost wonder if Cal was looking to leave because of Mitch and knowing NIL would be low... or he may have known about the JMI disaster coming.
I'm not saying Cal was good his last 5 years here or should have stayed, i'm simply saying I think bad Cal is better than Pope to be honest. More competitive , less beat downs.
Those are hypotheticals that don't matter and we should have just hired a good coach but we asked Drew and then went straight to Pope.

Eli and Mitch gotta go. They both have no common sense at all. Eli literally stood up and interrupted the excitement at the Will Stein press conference to talk about a dang art building while everyone there was ready to hear Steins speech. Eli sounded like a complete moron back when Louisville hired Kenny Payne with all the dumb crap he said. Both of these guys are great examples of academically smart people having no common sense whatsoever. If I gave every example of Mitch showing his lack of common sense I’d have to type a novel.
