We said same thing last year. Couple bad plays or would have been a different game. Funny how games work out that way.
Mitchell didn't show up tonight. Give Andrews credit they played with a purpose and that was to win. Still proud of our Mountaineers.
Congrats to Andrews I’m sure Mitchell will bounce back. We done the same **** last year. Didn’t show up against mitchell then played well there on out.
That's for sure 4 kids in that usually dont play, like I posted earlier in the week you dont want to see our depth
No they're not dont get too full of yourself I was conservative on my score picking because I knew what most of these guys dont 2 starting linemen out 1 questionable, otherwise everyone else would have called it spot on enjoy your upset and use it against Murphy and the Ville, but we have beat much better backs we just played terrible tonight I dont know about these underclassmen they just dont look like they're up to the task

After looking at the scores no really dominant teams in 1a west maybe heritage is not as been as I have thought .

Better RB this year? Maybe I haven't seen all the teams you've played, at minimum I know Erwin doesn't have a RB on his level. Much better back? No I seriously doubt that, that's just sour grapes. #2 for Andrews is a top top all around player and a very good back. He would start in the backfield for a lot of teams, Mitchell and Murphy included.
As far as this being the best Andrews team ever, no this is not the best Andrews team ever, at least not talent wise. The 2011 Andrews team had it all, size and skill talent, this year's Andrews team does not have the size or the all around talent of that team. Andrews also had a really talented group in the mid 90's when Donnie Keifer was coaching there. If that 2011 Andrews group had their current head coach (Phillips) running the show they would've been a serious threat to win a state title.

Eastern Rand. right now looks like the class of the field. But don’t count out Robbinsville, Mt. Airy is looking strong. Seems like Some of the regulars do have some things to work out, Murphy, Heritage and obviously Mitchell.

No excuses here. Mitchell got beat. Had no answer. Big congrats to Andrews, they deserved that win. Maybe we can get a rematch in November!

Andrew's rb and qb was good, dont get me wrong but take a look at Wataugas line and their rb, your small quick mean line won you the game, I have never seen a line that small play that hard, hope you guys win the conference good luck rest of the way
I don't think this is Murphy or Robbinsvilles year, ER looks tough, Andrew's gonna play uphill after beating us, I do hope they win the SMC, but I see ER and Tarboro in the end
Hope #2 is ok. I saw him go out while on offense holding his shoulder. Then he came back in on defense and made one tackle and was out. Looked like a collarbone injury. #5 was a beast for most of the game until he ran out of gas late in the 4th. Andrew’s line was dominant.

You are delusional. First off, the consolidation may not happen. There are some things going on that might prevent that from happening is what I hear. Secondly, the SMC has owned Mitchell. Andrews, Cherokee, Robbinsville, Murphy have all beat you in the past couple years. Heck maybe Swain too. I’m not sure. I like Mitchell. If I had to pull for someone outside the SMC, it would be them. You just keep running that mouth. You get matched up with Robbinsville again this year and they will run it down your throat again.
We finish 2nd or 3rd in the state every year dumdum

Even if it does happen—once the legislature kicks all the charters out of 1A, bumping the line up around 750, and the charter school opens its high school, I wouldn’t be shocked if the new school ended up being 1A.
Those same 20 players will beat you, a guy at Andrew's pulling the chains said the 10th and 11th grade kids were undefeated from 5th grade till now? And that Murphy or Robbinsville had never beat that group? Made me feel a little better anyway
If Andrews ran it all over you, Robbinsville will for sure run it all over you. Backs are faster and just as much power if not more. Last years team was 2 times as good as this years Mitchell team from what I seen and Robbinsville still run it all over you.

I’m an Andrews graduate. So if they do win, I won’t be mad but I live in Robbinsville now and I’m a die hard Black Knight. That being said I mean no disrespect to my former school when I say this but while it may be closer than some think, Robbinsville will probably walk out of that one with a W.
