Bears go up 7-0 and that was about it....Mitchell goes on a 28-0 run and ends Bears season....Mitchel QB was difference....pass D never made it up the Mtn for Bears....Malik Frost puts up 121 yards and 2 scores for Bears O....tough ending for 7 Bear seniors...Thanks!!......young Bears will be back...

Thanks, will agree I thought Mitchell's line controlled the game after the first quarter. Yea hate to see 11 graduate. He has been a starter all 4 years. For that matter hate to lose any of our seniors. Great group of kids both on and off the field. Impressed with how hard your kids played all night.
I went up that mtn thru Boone and came back the other way down to I40 and in no hurry to go back. I am sure it is a great view in the daytime. Mitchel line was the difference with holes up the middle that I could run thru. Bear pass defense just kept me scratching my head. Congrats to Mitchell. This years final 4 in the west is deff a storyline with in itself , to me all 4 are Cinderella story's as none of the traditional main stays are there. Was impressed with East Wikes last night , real slippery quarterback , really good at extending plays , a real big fullback a scrappy line a couple of receivers to boot. But with that being said in a game that if you were watching felt like the score was lopsided in the cards favor but looked up with 3 minutes to go and it was 15 -7. Every thing that could go wrong for the Devils did. Should be a interesting game in Ronda next week , guess I will be in pilot mtn rooting for coach diamont and the cards , how cool would it be to see the fossil ( that's what the kids call him ) finally playing for a state championship and In Winston Salem to boot!! Already looking foward to August as I know the Bears will be back a year older and from what I here with the most talent in the pipeline since 2009. Should be a special kinda year indeed

The sophomore qb threw it very well for Mitchell Friday night and he had a good rushing game. If I remember right he had 264 yards passing and 3 rushing tds. He has grown up a lot this year.
