Why don't MLB players shake hands at the end of a game/series? I can understand not doing it every day when you're playing the same team tomorrow...but why not at the end of a playoff series? Detroit and Seattle play this amazing game, and Seattle heads out to celebrate while Detroit heads straight to the showers. Just doesn't seem right, especially when you consider that you'll get handshakes in NFL, NBA (more at the end of a series), NHL (end of a series), soccer, golf, tennis, etc. Trying to think of another sport where the competitors give so little acknowledgment of each other postgame, and I don't have one.
