Yeah I don’t buy this is a rolled ankle.

We brought Mo here because last years team lacked toughness. This is supposed to be our toughest player? Jeff Sheppard played with a black leg for 3 straight days in the ‘98 SEC tournament. I guess Mo D is “2025 tough”.

Torn ligament according to Pope:
“It’s just — these high-ankle sprains are super painful, and it’s, without getting too specific, it’s just a torn ligament between the tibia and fibula.”

Ankle sprain does not generally take this long to recover from. Especially at a major university and the medical staff.
Something is off, I guess if the rumors were true, he cannot get over losing his girlfriend to another player.

Um...wouldn't a torn ligament require surgery?

NVM. Just googled it. Evidently only grade 3 complete tears require surgery, but grade 2 tear is 3 - 6 weeks recovery, 8 - 10 weeks for grade 3 tear non complete tear.
Similar injury to Tua, just maybe a different grade. The bad ones sometimes have the "tightrope" procedure or a screw across the syndesmosis.

Cam couldn't take advantage of the opportunity but hopefully Jelavic can. If Pope would post him up he would do well I believe. He has some nice moves in the paint.
I agree he does have some nice moves down in the paint plus he is used to playing against grown men overseas.

The kid has an ankle that no one on this board could play with and half the posts are how the kid is faking an injury. If he did transfer at semester, it wouldn't be because of Pope, it would be because he started reading this board

The body language of all the players is extremely bad, just seems something is going on
Yeah they suck and they know they suck. The injuries have taken a toll on them and obviously they have no swagger, no belief. They still don’t play for each other, lots of selfish play. Whether that is due to ability, lack of players, or chemistry issues we don’t know.

A moderate high ankle spa rain can take 6-8 weeks and a tear can require surgery.
I hope the doctors can successfully reattach his foot.
Cooper Flagg nearly lost his life to an ankle sprain last year and played the next game. He must be 1980’s tough.

If he will recognize the double team, and can pass out of it, will be really nice. Playing time will answer that. He can be a good one with playing time for sure.
I'm with you 👍. Think he has a nice skillset and deserves us investing in him. Maybe he can help hit the open man when he gets double teamed. Could be a good guy to play alongside JQ or MM.
