Would you take him back if you were Frost and he wanted to come back? He was a great player in the short time he was here.

No. Cancer spreads. Disagree that he was a great player. He had speed and was exciting, but didn't run the plays the way he was supposed to. He constantly kicked plays outside in an attempt to outrun the defender. He's the last thing this program needs.

In a heartbeat. He always played like he could get a serious injury at any time. But he had the ability to make those plays. Miss that at RB. It's been a long three years.

Yes, as a walk-on on the scout team for a (zero tolerance) year to prove himself to the team.
He’d have to earn his way back. Nothing given but the opportunity.

…. but we’re talking about MoWash, and MoWash is all about MoWash, not about any team.

He went into the portal two years ago after finally being kicked off the team and is still in there.

It would be more helpful to the NU program if Iowa or Minnesota picked him up. Let Washington drag those programs down.

Assuming that he would be allowed back into school, he wouldn't last one day.

Stop focusing on guys that don't want to be here and follow simple rules (did you see the Tanner Farmer video on MW?). This also includes WR and LM. That in itself is a cancer. With NIL lurking, just stop. ... Stuck in the transfer portal.. yeah whatever.

Definitely NOT. Great physical talent but didn't have the right stuff between the ears. Not worth risking team morale/cohesion.

That said, I hope he is able to turn his life around some day, just not as part of the Husker team.

So if former student-athlete Mo isn’t welcome to come back, can we take back former UNL student-athlete Bubba?

I saw somewhere his resume mentions he attended college at UNL. Pretty funny. I recall he was in school for a couple weeks while playing chicken with the Royals. We lost a little in that game. The Royals lost a lot more. But Bubba won the lottery and also got a free trip to the Tokyo Olympics.

Very very few of the players liked Washington when he was here. He almost never hung around the other players nor did he help team unity. Its one thing to be a bad *** and at the same time being a team player but another to be selfish and a cancer.

Dont remember Bubba having such major legal issues for allegedly having child porn in his possession and SEVERAL chances with the coaching staff to correct the weed habits amoung other issues all while on campus? Bubba was never kicked off the team at any time either...Weird I know there are several examples to compare Mo with but the last one I would use is Bubba..

how did his child porn case turn out?
if he became regenerate, and left all that degeneracy.
I'd give him a 5th chance, and take him as a receiver

I think a lot of people forget that Mo Washington was never suspended from Nebraska for his charge out of California.

Mo stopped going to class, going to workouts, and repeatedly failed to show up for practice after the Illinois game in 2019. What's crazy is he was given like 3 or 4 chances the weeks of the Ohio State, Northwestern, and Minnesota games.

You can't take a kid back who was repeatedly that insubordinate.

He was granted Probation, and I think he still remains on probation.

This is such a tired exercise. Mo Washington wasn't kicked off the team for anything but not following team rules, being a ****** teammate and not going to class. The charges would have been overlooked with some sort of mandated counseling. He was a POS as a teammate and as a player. He needed to go and shouldn't and, in my opinion, wouldn't be welcomed back.

well at least california did something...
his main problem is the naked girl he was sharing on his phone had thicker legs then him.
but he would be great as a receiver, if he could focus on something

we need to be out there finding 3 more/year with his gamebreaking ability, though.
