The weather forecast showed the possibility all day long. Why hadn’t all alternatives been worked through in the afternoon with Akron before even warmups?

The weather forecast did not show the storm lasting longer than normal. There was no reason to believe it would prior to it happening. Forecast showed an opening of a couple hours. Stop with the revisionist history please!

I’m not surprised at all that they are not offering to give money away. If you have a ticket and a future game scheduled that you cannot attend, it’s your responsibility to sell that ticket. That’s how it is for uninterrupted games, that’s the expectation that every major university has for their teams.

Yes. Tickets were scanned back and told to keep them for future use if possible. Ticket takers made that very clear to everyone walking out our gate.

If we were playing OSU on thanksgiving for the conference title and a blizzard was scheduled to start during game time they would move the game...a game against Akron is just not that important...the hype for the game was too much because of frosty, but it is a pointless game...some positives of playing it, and a whole lot of negatives...still do not know why we play lesser teams, they are lose/lose games. 10 conference games, 2 power 5 games...no more of these sunbelt/mac affairs...especially if we are paying...that is garbage.
