Have you ever spent any time there? They are still fighting the civil war. The state of Alabama is a very different reality and the deeper you get into the state the worse it gets.

I certainly wouldn’t be depressed or think it’s “horrific”…but think we can find a better option.
I'd be excited. I think the momentum from naming Terry the head man after the Rutgers game could and would carry forward to a great performance in the bowl game.

It seems quite odd to me, to fire a coach mid-season, then, hope for an OK coach to gag in a big game, so we could hire him? Why not just keep Franklin if we are going to hire so, so coaches from big name programs who can't win big games? doesn't add up.
