Good first inning for Hartman … gave up a lead off walk, but then struck out the 2nd batter and got the ground ball to shortstop for the double play.

3 up and 3 down for the Cards. Should be an interesting game. Morehead State is just 4-7 but one of those 4 wins was 8-6 at UK on Tuesday Feb 17.

Yes (ended up being 14) and so many of Morehead’s hits came off of 3-1 or 2-0 counts. Seemed like we were behind every batter. Cards pitchers have walked 7 more batters than our opponents on the year (70 to 63).

Can’t see this team doing much without significant improvement from the pitching staff, even with a healthy Zion Rose.
