I hope Morris wins because I disliked a kid from Coal City, a graduate of 1991, who wore his varsity jacket about ISU campus during the fall of 1991.

I realize now it may because he could not afford another jacket. But still, I dislike him.

You do know defense and special teams are two thirds the game of football right? Coal City didn’t play great defense last night. They have a lot of things to correct this week. But I’m very pretty confident they will. Morris has a good team, played tough. They will get to the playoffs. You don’t need to worry about CC they will be just fine this season. But hey your Freshman team dominated ours “insert eye roll”

Great to see the Coalers pull this game out. Defense needs to iron out some issue but overall a great game. Offense is really rolling though.

I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this about the CC vs Morris.

It seemed kind of odd to have 2 lefty QBs starting the same game and both were just about as likely to run verses pass on any given pass plays.

I honestly thought this would be a low scoring game but it was the Wild Wild West. CC needs to tighten the D before Mac rolls in town next week

Hate to get into the freshman thing, but the Morris freshman coach is right up there with the Peoria varsity coach.

I left Wilmo game at half to catch this stream and it looked like an exciting game. Stream was kinda crappy, could have been an issue on my end, and can’t really complain too much since they are providing a free stream. Probably going to CC this week to see what Mac has to offer.
