Tyoical narrow minded response. Never said there wasn't. But keep whining over our class buddy, it helps a lot and we all like reading the same sh*t over and over.
He's a troll from another board. I think right now the number of non-Husker fans on the free board outnumbers actual Husker fans by at least twofold.

If I remember correctly, Morrison did not have a commitable offer from Oklahoma or Oklahoma State. Frost and Riley took a fair number of kids who couldn't didn't draw real interest from their home schools and all of those kids are on the bench or have transferred out already. And a couple of them, God only knows, somehow had a 4 star rating.

States like Florida, Texas, California, Louisiana, Georgia etc, have a lot of P5 HS football recruits. Additionally, a number of the P5 schools in the states a) recruit nationally and b) only have about 25 spots to offer. It isn't like Nebraska where 1 of the 5 players with P5 talent decides to leave the state and it is a big deal. There are all state players in Texas that don't get a UT or aTm offer, that doesn't mean the player isn't any good. Sometimes players get over rated.

If I recall there was a 4 star instate TE a few years ago that went to Arizona St. Kid ended up leaving ASU and transferring to Nebraska as a walk on. That player never saw action in a game at Nebraska, not sure he even made it past spring and summer workouts. It is a crap shoot at best. But the fact remains that 4 and 5 star players on your roster give you the best chance to compete for titles. Without them, you have no chance.

I’m a fan of the TEAM. That’s why I cheer for them every game day, even when they suck. The fact that Frost has sucked and still hasn’t been fired doesn’t change that fact.

I think most fans of teams understand this and make no apologies for it.
Show me a Blue Blood or even a Power 5 team that has a coach who has had the "success" or lack there of (no winning seasons, division bottom feeder, no bowl games) in 4 years like Frost and still has emotional support from "fans" much less still has a job.

I'll wait...

I remember being in this board in 2012, 13 and 14 and their were people on here COMPLAINING EVERY WEEK and we were WINNING way more than LOSING!

Some of the same people who have been preaching for "patience" for 4 years, making excuses for this sh!tshow, last placed, 1-2 wins a year in B1G, no bowl game going team were the ones out with pitchforks when the last time we beat Iowa!

No real fans aren't going to sit back and be quiet when our team has been pathetic the last 7 years. Those people who screamed for this crap and said how a monkey can win 9-10 wins a years in Lincoln have NO VALIDITY anymore....

No "real fans" eh? As in there is only one way to be a real fan?

With regards to my post.. There is a big difference between sitting on your hands and not saying anything, to constantly saying people (specifically coaches and the administration) don't care about winning.

When an individual makes statements like that it's pretty hard to take them seriously.

What are you talking about? What does this have to do with your claim that if you don’t speak out you aren’t a fan? I don’t understand your angle here… Obviously, Frost should be gone by virtue of his record. But he’s not. What do you want me to do about it? Oh and how does me not pissing and moaning about that make me not a fan?

There it is. A 29,000+ post guy that thinks I’m not Nebraska fan. Such arrogance from guys like Dingleberry. Just so you know Dingleberry, it is possible to be fairly new on this board, a Nebraska fan, and absolutely think it is a joke that Scott Frost will be our coach for at least part of 2022. It is also possible that I think anybody that supports that decision to keep Frost is an absolute moron.

Tim with the rest you can’t pronounce, nobody wants you to do anything about Frost being our coach. We just want to point out how bad he sucks so you can agree with us

I personally never saw it with RJ, and wished Sevion would have got more of his reps. Still think he was our most talented runner, but he had serious deficiencies in pass pro and was very 1 dimensional.

Really disappointed to see him go. Ton of potential that I think will flourish in the right situation.

If I remember it correctly, Bubac was exactly the type of kid I'm talking about-- but in the opposite direction. The local school offers, their interest cools and an out of state school signs a guy who looks good on paper. We've had a number of guys who were either 4 stars or the state player of the year or a decommit from a big name school. Houston, Austin, Morrison, Chase, a half dozen or more from Florida, I forget others and won't take the time to look them up.

I'm all for recruiting Texas, Alabama, etc. True, they can't offer them all. But I guess I'm saying that I would be more excited about stealing an Iowa State commit out of Texas like Devine Ozigbo than some of these other guys who are still available for a reason or signing a guy out of any state other than Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama who cannot even take an official visit to his home P5 school.

let's see now. I need to go back and find the poster who used to call me Dingleberry. Seems like he received a long vacation a while back.

The TE Riley landed over Michigan was exactly that kind of guy. 4 star, highly thought of and he never amounted to squat. He really didn't seem to care if he played football and I think he eventually "retired"early.

Both teams up there in rushing and wait for it... Scoring efficiency...
Congrats to them? Coastal has two losses in a bad conference and K-State isn't close to winning ****. Don't get me wrong, I love me some fullback, but I also don't think they're needed most of the time. The hybrid TE/FB are becoming much more of the norm.

And if I recall correctly, that was Harbaugh's first recruiting crop and he didn't even have time to evaluate. We all figured he offered Snyder (not sure on the name) based on respect for Riley and Langs evaluation.

NFL teams are using TEs like a fullback but they're letting them get up a head of steam as they come in motion. Instead of taking on a DT or DE head on they're hitting them at an angle and often knocking them out of the play. It's just a different way to accomplish the job of a fullback. San Fran and some others sometimes will line up their "fullback" as if he's a TE which in reality their fullback is used a lot as a receiver.

there are still some nfl teams that use one.
they even run pass routes out of them. what a concept with 5 guys running a pass route and still have a fb to pass and run block. almost like a spread with blocking as needed

Just to be clear, you cannot have 5 guys running routes and a FB to pass and run block. 5 OL, 1 QB, that is 6 guys....only 5 left, 1 is blocking, only 4 can be running routes.
